Friday would be good as it allows for the bank holiday etc.

A thanks from God himself is a wonderful thing!

Productive days are almost as rare, no? I've noticed I can't have two on the trot - almost accepted it too.

I think it has something to do with "grounding".....

glad about that....do you use the bubble method, the roots of the tree, or the running water down the plughole?

    Morning all!

The sun is shining and OH has been paid :j What more can a DFW girl want in life (answers on a postcard, please keep them clean...)?

So, early indications show that basic bills will get paid this month, although it is also a month that includes car insurance (through quidco of course) and MOT to be paid for (why can't they be done through quidco too!), so extra funds need to be found from somewhere, meaning that overpaying will be kept to a minimum and supermarket shopping also needs to be kept as low as possible. However, I think there is a good chance that we will live to see July.....:D

I do need to get more clients in and that will only happen if I get off my backside and make an effort. Yesterday was pitiful - I did see clients but did nothing else, so today once I am back from taking the kids to skiing, (about 11 ish) I will have 4 or 5 hours to allocate to being productive.

I'm not saying that I will be away from DFW for that length of time - some things just aren't possible, or even advisable, but if I reply to every other post today, please slap me.

Hi Hypno, with regards to the MOT, Quidco offer cashback for Nationwide Autocentres. Don't they do MOT's? You can even book your car in on-line.

    Hello Hypno

Thanks for the morning blast of positivity. Glad to hear you will survive June!

I thought of you when I read a post on the 'what can you tell us about your job' thread. Someone who works for a local paper said that papers give free editorial coverage to interesting local people and businesses - I'm sure you've already tried that as you are a tv star, but if not, something to think about to attract new clients.

Hope you have a productive day and I will send a stern message if I see your green light on too much this afternoon!

Thanks GR for the tip about Nationwide - will investigate further.

Sea, trying to get editorial round these parts is incredibly difficult - I spend my money on advertising but still don't seem to get a bit of editorial!

I did make a list of topics the other day that I could write a "store" of articles about, to drip feed them to local publications in the hope that they would get sick of me and put one in just to shut me up.

Just have to find the time to write them.............:o

Hope you two are good today?
