Hypno,
Fingers crossed for you that June turns out to be a better month than May money-wise. With all the invigilating & extra work you took on, I would have thought that overpayments should be possible - and at least you won't have to eat mayonnaise sandwiches again!

Hi Hypno, Good for you getting so much done today. I really hope some of those letters pay off. What happened with your dodgy ebay buyer? Did he return the thing and was it really broken?
A little tip from me - I never write a list more than three items long. Otherwise I find them too daunting and don't do anything. When it's just three, it's easy to tick them off, and then you can always write another.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -
What a load of peeps visiting my diary - thanks guys for popping in and saying hi and stuff!
Seaxwyn - re your tip about lists, yesterday I didn't write a list of things to do, I wrote a list of things I had done as I did each thing! So it started off as a blank sheet of paper but by the end of the day was full and only of things that had been completed, so a very satisfying list!! Think I will do the same thing again today, although only a couple of hours available to do so.
LA - other than 4 loads of washing, the housework didn't get touched. If you fancy popping over to do a bit of mine, I am sure I won't complain
Pania - pop over for coffee, my kettle is always on
GTD - hello stranger! Not caught up on your diary yet, will do so when I finish writing this. Hope you are ok.
Taxi - I had forgotten that I had committed to the 101 day challenge until Elanten mentioned it again yesterday! Went back to the first page of that thread to see what I had said I would do, and at least could cross some things off the list, but others haven't been started. Get on top of the housework is one that continues to haunt me

Hi Hypno
Hope you manage a productive day. The only thing on my list today is to understand matched betting  I came in work early especially to sit in peace and quiet and read it - I think it might just be sinking in!
As for the housework - there's always tomorrow - who can keep a house tidy with kids in it is beyond me0 -
Morning BAUK, it took me weeks and weeks of reading over and over to understand matched betting, and although I do it, I am not making the most of it like others do. You will get there, but don't rush. It may even be worth holding on until the football season starts again because it is much easier to match on football than on other sports IMO!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Matched betting is something i would like to try but it makes my head spin when I read the thread. not sure I am clever enough to understand. However, thanks for the great excuse to put off thinking about it until the football season starts again!0 -
All I can say is read, read and read again, download the spreadsheet on the newcomer's thread, and do some dry runs. There is also an excellent beginners thread on that board where they don't mind checking things over for you just to make sure that you have got it correct. Don't be afraid to ask!!
Once you have done the first one, you wonder what all the fuss is about. Having said that, for the couple of hours between placing my first bets and having them settled, I felt incredibly sick!!
The offers will be around later in the year, though, so don't worry if it takes you a little longer to pluck up the courage!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
