All I can say is read, read and read again, download the spreadsheet on the newcomer's thread, and do some dry runs. There is also an excellent beginners thread on that board where they don't mind checking things over for you just to make sure that you have got it correct. Don't be afraid to ask!!

Once you have done the first one, you wonder what all the fuss is about. Having said that, for the couple of hours between placing my first bets and having them settled, I felt incredibly sick!!

The offers will be around later in the year, though, so don't worry if it takes you a little longer to pluck up the courage!

Yay - have read it three times, whilst supposedly working and also doing ebay auctions - can't you just tell I sit in the corner :rotfl: I may ask DH for help if he doesn't offer to much irritating advice, although personally I would like to crack things on my own and claim the credit :j

Morning El! I am trying desperately to keep yesterday's motivation going, but it is evading me!

I have clients this afternoon but was hoping to get loads done this morning, unfortunately my efforts in matched betting are not producing me the odds I need to proceed and I am slowly losing the will to live.....!

Tentative calculations for June do show, however, that we will survive another month, so all good I think. Perhaps not the great overpayments that I would like, but hopefully able to keep our heads above water.

How are you doing? Any news on the job?

I am inclined to agree for the min. This month I have netted just over £100 which is still £100 that I didn't have before, but some way short of where I would like to be.

I think I will try and do this one that I started this morning (totalbet) and then wait a while, although I do manage to do reasonably well on the tennis which at least does continue through the summer.

I just got really excited because one of my posts on another thread got a "thanks" from the God himself :money:

Woo hoo and ring a ding ding!

I've pm'd him before but you just get a standard reply saying "sorry, God is very busy at the moment and loads of peeps PM him every day, so he doesn't have time to respond" Very disappointed I was, so that is why I was so sadly thrilled to have a "thanks" from him :rotfl:

No good at links, but it was only on the "you know you've spent too much time on MSE/DFW when....." thread that is about at the mo.

    and my response was:

"when you ask your daughter to change her name to Martin!"

Wow - where did the God acknowledge your presence - did you hypnotise him to do it :rotfl:
