Hmm, it reminds me of a discussion a while ago - how DFW is it, to spend so much 'work' time on the boards? I can easily while away hours on here, and then realise I did no actual work for an entire afternoon!

I know what you mean - it is easy to get too caught up in these boards, but on the other hand, they are the sole reason for me having got so much debt etc cleared this year, so I think there are far worse things to be doing.

My lack of other activity doesn't really stem from spending too much time on DFW, more that I just don't seem to be channelling my energy productively!!

Have done another letter since last posting though - my poor laptop doesn't know what has hit it!!

Still in your PJs, hell, why not! Just because Flylady says you should be dressed, including make up and shoes, doesn't make it right you know!!

I have made a list of all the things I have done, because I know that at the end of the day I will think that I have not achieved anything whereas I have actually managed to banish some of the old paperwork from my desk. If I can do a similar amount each day this week, I will start to get back on top of things nicely.

At the same time as writing this post, I have phone tucked under my chin on hold to stupid travel insurance company to ask for my documents back. All they do is put me on hold while they are "experiencing a high volume of calls". However, I am important to them and I can be assured that they are aware of the inconvenience that this causes and they are working hard to resolve the situation. Bless 'em

Any joy with the lovely people at the other end of the phone yet hun  ?

Your list is a great idea - I make a list of jobs per day for the week (I'm a bit of a saddo actually, have a proper 'list book' and everything :o ) You will achieve loads today I'm sure - there will be steam coming from your laptop by the end of it!! x

dontcha just love those calls all at high cost if they would only give me a non 08 number i dont pay for calls for up to an hour (due to sons high use of phone i have a plan thingy (although he has went over this) saying that i have no doubt they would keep you on hold for that long ...it's amazing how many have high numbers of calls i mean does everyone in britain phone the same bloody companies at the same time or is it just one lonely person answering every call ?

Dealt with nice but dim Amy today at the end of the phone. She will make a note on my file......

Ok, so no great expectations there then.

I have managed though to do masses today - Am really pleased with myself. Lots of stuff that I have been meaning to do but not got around to. Hopefully this will continue for the rest of the week, but even if it doesn't, I have done something.

Got to go off now and pitch for some business, and then this evening I will start the scary business of trying to work out if I will have enough coming in to cover June's minimum payments or whether there is any chance of making an overpayment or two.......

    Catch you later xx

Hi HYpno ...well done on getting some paperwork done...I know the feeling...I've to do my accounts yet and keep looking at the filing cabinet but never quite make it there...I think I will have to add it to my 101 day challenge...so that I get it done...so very well done on starting...You should be pleased with yourself cos you've got loads done...
I sometimes think the more we think about things the less gets done...take care..

    Hypno,

Fingers crossed for you that June turns out to be a better month than May money-wise. With all the invigilating & extra work you took on, I would have thought that overpayments should be possible - and at least you won't have to eat mayonnaise sandwiches again!
