Best not to do that. Leaves no room for the ice-cream.

    Salt them instead. Tastier... ;)

I have a few recipies that I took from OS - my slow cooker will be working well over the next few months, and the little hypnos will not starve!

:money: :rotfl: oh yeah, very dfw! I like your 2008 challenges, hypno, especially the one about the planting. As I get stronger again, I plan to resume the digging in the garden - salad, herbs and perennial fruit sound good to me.

Hi all, and welcome to boredofbeingathome!! I hope you continue posting - the support round here is invaluable!!

Just having another brief break for coffee while I am uploading some work stuff onto the laptop - takes forever, but gives me an excuse to put the kettle on and catch up a bit on here, without feeling guilty!!

Re CRB checks, I have loads already too, but I think this one is a bit more involved - being for a prison and all that. As I say, it is not as though I can't fill the time up with other things, but it would be nice to know that I can earn some regular money sooner rather than later. I have the ability to take 2 months mortgage holiday, so may have to do that if it doesn't come through soon, rather than to worry myself silly about it.

Sis is getting help, and is generally a very positive person, so I am hopeful for her. Thanks for the positive words.
Hi hypno and thanks -i'm just getting the hang of posting and adding smilies:j just to add my little bit about crb checks i hve about 5 current ones, and have recently been working in a small private school for autistic/aspergers syndrome which as it is enhanced has taken about 5 weeks to come through:T .When i first started teaching we used to get a passport for teaching which lasted about 3 years! Oh how times have changed. Glad to hear about your sis- that's great news:rotfl: I seem to have had a similar day to all of you as it has been non stop washing and cleaning:eek: , and now i am stopping for a few mins on the computer, which will probably be an hour. Good luck with the challenge. I am having great fun with the smilies so apologies if too much:cool:

Morning all. A day at the Uni is in store - will feel a bit strange going in so soon after I left the other job - it is in the same dept so hope I do not get too many quizzical looks etc - a good reason just to go into the office and get my head down to work!

Then no time to come home between uni and college so straight from one to the other. By the time I get home tonight I will be absolutely shattered!

So, no time for anything else today! Don't even know if I will have access to a computer so may not be able to check up on MSE! OMG Why did I take this work today.....!!

Hope everyone has a good day x

Hi hypno, just getting in before the cutoff point for the admin. You won't be on your diary today! Nooooo! Hope it goes well - all those figures in your sig must be about to come down - even the £41344, actually, just ordinary minimum payments must have attacked that one by now! Will be good to see your situation stabilising, and have a good day.

Hi KC! To be honest, I am reluctant to look at the snowball etc right now - things are prob not that good!

In fact, I mentioned on a couple of other threads yesterday that along with Sea78, Seaxwyn and BAUK, I am going to re-do my debt figures at the beginning of the new year and include all those things I currently don't include - so overdrafts, Secured loan, loan to OH parents etc.

So, the debt figure will go up significantly, but it will be a more honest figure, and hopefully will actually motivate me to get it back down again!

DFD will obviously change too, but we decided it showed a "maturity" in out debt free journey, so we will celebrate these increases rather than get depressed about them :rotfl:
