The day I post that I am giving up coffee will be a strange day indeed!!
Anyway, Sea, queen of all things Flylady.........I am sure you are far more on top of things than you make out!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

I think I'm tired today - read your first line as 'Am stopping coffee for a wee while' and was thinking - what! Hypno can't give up coffee!!!!! lol

Hypno will give up coffee when Martin gives up moneysaving
I need to join the housework challange too but will have a coffee whilst I think about itI Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
MSE Florida wedding .....no problem0 -
Afternoon Hypno :hello:
I'm glad to be able to catch up with you, I may have sorted my computer today, and I'll be back more regularly
I'm so up straight with my housework (sorry) that I'm even doing jobs postponed for years, like scrubbing the cat cack off the wall near his food bowls. I've even been watching back-to-back episodes of Kim'n'Aggie for hints....
(did you know you can move a cooker out to clean behind it)
AND I have no ironing left to do, now that I have no children or OH to look after.
But I know what I'd choose, and it isn't a showroom house.0 -
Duchy, def a good idea to mull things over with a coffee.
OO I am impressed with the level of housework achieved. I can't move my cooker out, as it is a built in one. Actually for Christmas I am considering asking my mum to pay for one of those peeps that come out and clean your oven for you.....mine is quite shocking. The hob is shiny but the oven - well that is another matter entirely!
PP, I have just pm'd you!
Right, coffee finished, and an hour remains before I need to go to the supermarket, so best get on with this lounge.........catch you very soon, I am sure!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Oven? I'm sure I've asked this before, but is that the bit of the cooker with the glass door to display all the pretty casserole dishes inside? I can honestly say that mine is spotless, just like brand new! Wonder why?!0

I would like that too. It's the one place I hate doing. Left to my own devices it would still be clean but OH keeps using it!! He does give it the odd clean - usually when to turn it on alerts the smoke alarms - but it's never properly clean and when it's listed as a "to do" on the flylady list (which is quite often!!) I just delete that bit and pretend it wasn't there! maybe that should be my challenge for after the attic?0 -
ok i'm night shift next week but i need to know what is the current housework challenge ? what are we doing? i need to join this0
-
Do you have to clean the oven then
. I have a self cleaning one :rotfl: :rotfl: . Wondered why it was a bit grubby.:D
Will have to buy some of that elbow grease. Do they sell it in MrT next to the Stardrops

El, it is the dining room next week - finishing off the lounge now.
YM, perhaps if we could buy "elbow grease" then we would be fine.....do you reckon we could get it through quidco
Self-cleaning ovens - whoever thought that one up was having a laugh, mine is anything but!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
