Well, I am still in my dressing gown, watching skiing on tv so am sticking to orders so far!!

My plan for today will include the following.....in no particular order!

• tidy the kitchen - need to keep on top of last week's room
• tidy the lounge - this week's room for my housework challenge
• do some ironing
• wash dry and put away at least 2 loads of washing
• hoover throughout downstairs
• do a bit of supermarket shopping for basics.
• go to my mums - she comes home from hols today so need to put heating on and get her some milk and bread in etc
• do 2 x 15 mins of paperwork sorting
• do 1 hour minimum of ebay listing.

Ok, it is a big list, but I have all day to do it, and I hope to coerce the kids into doing a bit, in return for their big ski day they had yesterday.....payback time!!

Imp, I am just waiting for security clearance for the new job - was hoping to start tomorrow, but not to be. Never mind, I have actually got plenty of other work that I can fill my days with until I get the go ahead. In fact, it is a good job I don't start tomorrow, then I CAN catch up with outstanding stuff that really MUST get done this week!!

Def had to make the effort - if I had come home between work and the party, I would prob have sat down and not got back out again!

Trying in vain to make a difference with the housework today - I am hoping a burst of that elusive energy will make itself known to me shortly.....can't cross anything off my list yet :mad:

Thanks - in true Hypno style I have left it until the last minute - the kitchen sort of went to pot too during the week so have spent this morning trying to get back on top of that. My bedroom which I amazingly did last weekend has stayed tidy, as has the en-suite, so I am pleased enough with that.

I think the last time my bedroom was tidy for a week was..........nope, I don't think it ever has been!! Success!!

My lounge WILL be done today - otherwise I fail, and I don't like doing failure.

Seaxwyn, pick a room for next week - I chose the lounge so it is your turn!

Do you have a dining room? As that's the room I would most like to sort.

Goodness me you lot! Put me to shame!! lol!

My living room is just awful - the sofa is edging forward (half room is play room and half our living room) as toys are taking over - including broken ones, etc. I really need to get on top of it so will attempt it all along with you today

Hypno, you could schedule in 15 ins breaks at least every hour if not more! Lots of rest

Am stopping for a coffee for a wee while. Kitchen looks a whole lot better than before, the lounge has been started - hoovered through the lounge and the hall, even up 2/3 of the stairs. After coffee will get dust busting in the lounge and the hall, then will tackle the ironing - not doing all of it, just the smallish pile that has found its way to the corner of the lounge!

2nd load of washing is in the machine, will prob get another one done before I head out to the supermarket etc.

I have not yet sorted any paperwork out.......hmm:o

My house will never be in showroom condition, sadly, but it is starting to look a lot better than before!

Dining room is good for next week, mine is full of a work project that I have promised myself I will complete by the weekend, so it fits in well!!

I think I'm tired today - read your first line as 'Am stopping coffee for a wee while' and was thinking - what! Hypno can't give up coffee!!!!! lol

Your doing well so far! I'm still on here looking at dirty plates on the table. I suppose I'd better get moving!
