Ouch! Hopefully it will have righted itself by this morning. If not hope DD is ok and it doesn't hurt too much! I bet she'll never offer to help cut the grass again!!

Ooh choco, sorry to read that you were awake so early this morning, I hope you manage to stay awake today. Keep that caffeine coming!!

Thankfully the grass came out last night - it worked its way to the edge of the eye and I had to take it out with a pair of tweezers  The bit of grass is almost an inch long, so DD must have been very uncomfortable, and I'm not surprised she screamed so much!!

At least she doesn't have to have the injection in her eye - she really was dreading it!

Today I have a full day of clients, so will pop on here in between when I grab a drink. I hope everyone has a good day x

Good grief! Glad it all worked out well. Poor little thing....

Take care with all the clients (I have two, and am determined to use the time between properly, i.e. moneysaving!).

    Mortgage-free Glee!
Crikey, did anyone else read the "grass eye" and shudder all the way through it? I'm really squeamish about anything to do with eyes (I almost fainted during en episode of House MD where they stuck a needle into someone's eye).

I'm really glad you managed to get it out without having to resort to medical attention!

My clients today are all new ones, which is good, but also means that they each take longer than regulars. I will be allowing enough time in between for coffee though - I need that "grounding" time in between!

Oh yes, it was def shuddering stuff - splinters in fingers are difficult enough when your child is obviously in pain, but eyes are so much worse.

Of course, now DD is really proud of the whole thing - told everyone on MSN and I think by now the bit of grass is at least a foot long!!!!!

    Hi Hypno

Glad the grass is out and brave you going near an eye with tweezers! Don't think I would have trusted myself near my DD's eye

Just a thought, can you hypnotise your clients not to spend money, if so can I have an appointment please :rotfl:

Even better, perhaps I can do over the phone hypnosis for credit card suppliers "you will allow Mrs Hypno a 0% deal for the life of the balance, with cashback backdated"

    Now there's a thought.....:D
