Hypno's kick up the backside debt diary....

I am impressed with your DD, Seaxwyn! My DD finally did make a start on her bedroom and I can now get into the room without standing on anything or bashing my hip on her desk that sticks out into the room if she doesn't put it away! So we are certainly getting there!!
Snaggles, Ryan's comment made me smile - I don't do my windows because the seals on the old double glazing are blown so the moisture is in between the panes of glass and looks dirty even when they are clean! Can't afford new windows so will have to have dirty looking ones, and not bother to clean them!
I have cleared the majority of the living room floor - put a small rainforest worth of paper into the recycling bin and another small rainforest worth in the bin that we can't recycle. The hoover got the shock of its life when it was presented to another room, and the carpet is looking not too bad as a result of its co-operation, and I have done about half the ironing.
I have now had enough of housework for one day (or week, or month even) so have collapsed with the last of the biscuits. Tomorrow sees the start of the healthy eating (I refuse to diet any more) so no more biscuits for me - I need to get into my work clothes before I start my new job so must be sensible!
I haven't done any "work" and haven't done my essay. Oh well, will do some tomorrow after work. I have done enough for one day!

Hi all. Well I slept soundly, but I did NOT want to get up when my alarm went off! There must be an official word or phrase for feeling this crappy in the morning - "bluergh" is close, but not close enough this morning
Last day at the Uni today - tbh, I could do with not going at all, I have so much here to do. Instead I have just e-mailed my draft assignment to myself at work so hopefully will get chance to do some of it there!!
Got to get the kids to and from karate this evening as well, so not too much time at that end of the day. I have, however, got a beef casserole in the slow cooker already today so that is dinner more or less sorted.
I hope everyone has a good day xxSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Great that you had a good night's sleep! I know exactly how you feel this morning though - I had the same feeling when the alarm went off at 5.30am for work. Beluuuurgh! And to top it off, I grabbed an orange on my way out the door, and got a big splinter stuck in my finger from it - hadn't realised that was possible from an orange, but apparently so (it was the little star-shaped bit on the top which had a sharp point on it - chances of that happening must be about 1:1,000,000, so the rest of you should be safe from orange attack for today at least!), so had to get safety pin and tweezers to get flippin' thing out and ended up late for work anyway. Bleuuuurgh!!!
Anyway! I'm pleased that you're having a nice normal morning, and 10/10 for getting dinner organised already! Hope you have a stress-free day!0 -
:A Really, really impressed with what you guys have done! I felt better on Sunday after the migraine, but didn't want to do anything terribly physical - pleased that I managed to cope with nearly all the washing up, tbh.
Nah, I really was ill. Anyway, so I have the kitchen to catch up on, and the lounge to do. I did want to do *something* yesterday, just not physical - so I started listing for work income that comes over the internet (some clients pay me directly on internet banking) - I have to check session date and amount vs payment date and amount, and some of them pay in different ways for different sessions, it can get quite complicated. Did most of this tax year, thats something. Okay, off to finally update my diary. Have a good day hypno - remember that if you don't have biccies, you have to have *something*, so take something healthy and :money: - ever considered doing your own veggie crisps, thin slices of parsnip etc cooked v slow? Good luck at the college today anyway, I like the idea of mailing yourself the draft to try and do some work on it.

morning girlies!!! Hypno i don't think ANYONE would blame you for calling in sick on your last day there, what would be more productive for you to do?

can either of you (or karma) tell me if i need to do a tax return? Although i am PAYE I incur expenses such as car maintenance costs, gas and leccy for working from home and mobile bills? just a quickie for you there?
Hope that you have a good day whatever you do, but if it was me i think i know where i'd be today!! ;-)debt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -
Hiya! On the tax return, Pania, I have no idea of the actual regs, but I'd have thought that as long as you claim via the company that deducts your tax, you're okay, aren't you? Mind you, you have to trust them, in that scenario....2023: the year I get to buy a car0
