Probably should have posted this post first, but sorry you're feeling down hypno. Just try to concentrate on all the positive things you have done, rather than the ones you haven't and what an inspiration you are to so many people - the sheer number of replies on your thread proves that!

Would give a group hug but I agree it does look dodgy and if you hover your mouse over it says "3some" so consider yourself group-hugged without the pervy intonations that Martin's smilie provides!!

Choco, I agree with you over the amount of adverts etc for debt related and debt incurring stuff. :mad:

Yup, tried quite a lot - some have such a long time before you ever hear back...others just send letters saying "we are sure you are aware we get lots of worthwhile requests...blah blah blah.....NO!" etc etc.

Hopefully one of them will give us something, but as they point out, there are a lot of worthwhile applicants!

Anyway...doom over. I will pick myself up, brush myself down and eat the trick or treat sweets....

did I just write that last bit? Me? nicking sweets? No :rotfl:

We have our ski sale on Sunday, that will hopefully bring in a reasonable amount. The ink cartridges still come in - thank you very very much to all those who are sending them, and we will be starting to "cash them in" fairly soon, so that will add a bit.

I do have a big project on the go as well which will hopefully bring some in......just need that energy I was mentioning!

I have more than enough stuff for a million car boot sales, but again it is the energy that is currently lacking, rather than anything else!

So, here is the plan of action....

- get an early night. My last client has cancelled so this is possible.
- get some sleep and recharge my batteries.
- get a move on with big project tomorrow
- have job interview for super paying job on Friday
- do bar shift on Saturday
- do mega ski sale on Sunday
- work at uni on Monday

That covers the next few days.....the pot will increase, of that I am sure.

Stop been so hard on yourself. A year ago theoretically you couldn't clear £10K of debt this year (even with bank charges refund) but you HAVE and without bank charges refund ! So it looks bad on paper at the moment and yes you're allowed to feel pee-ed off and fed up BUT you WILL bounce back and the kids WILL get to go. OK you may add a few months to your snowball (for now) big deal-it'll annoy you so much if you do that you'll knock it down again later.
So take the night off-have a large brandy and allow yourself the luxury of letting go. Even superwomen need a nght off now and again
