Good morning. Yesterday was really busy, -physio, clients and college - got home really late and my head hurt, so went straight to bed without even so much as passing MSE!
Today is mega busy too - clients (sadly not all paying ones) from 9 until 7.30 and I am largely working out of a clinic where there is no wireless internet access so cannot even take the laptop and nip on in between clients!!
Halloween tonight - trick or treating round here is well "regulated" and there is a nice atmosphere with a lot of respect for those who don't want to partake. I hated halloween before we moved here - used to be the one with the lights off, pretending to be out, but since we have been here it is not too bad. So bags of chupa chops at the ready!! I will be with clients for most of it so OH will have to answer the door, that is scary enough in itself
Hope you all have good day - at least things seem to have gotten back to normal on MSE now :jSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Hi!!! :j You guys got on on Monday night! I'm jealous - and I never thought of hunting on facebook either. I couldn't believe how long the attack lasted, I stopped checking the site out once an hour, thought I might be contributing to the damage! So I missed the restart, I guess.
Hypno, your day sounds incredibly busy, but since there's no internet access, maybe you relax between sessions, close your eyes etc? Seriously, what do you do between sess without the laptop?
I have *so* missed the site, between the help and the socialising. So glad to see everyone back.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Hi KC, how was MK etc? T'is AGES since we "chatted" last!
Have just checked online banking, OH got paid but overtime wasn't great last month and a little is missing, so by the time we have paid last month's overdraft, we are in credit for today only - tomorrow when the bills/mortgage come out we will be over our overdraft limit again  I have, however, taken out the housekeeping money for the month already, and put £40 a week for petrol and £40 a month for groceries etc in another account and this will have to see us through.
So, we are about £1000 adrift for this month, which is a heck of a lot of money and rather scary really. Still, we have been there before and survived so we will do so again. A couple of things in the pipeline MAY ease things, but nothing guaranteed, so we will work on the worst case scenario for now.....
Oh well, better get a move on, and go and see these non-paying clients, and hope that I can convert some of them into paying clients in the course of the day.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Having spent the weekend been chauffeured around the frozen North by my friend's partner I'm now convinced I need a laptop for travelling (used his whilst on the move him been an IT person) although I was a bit bemused the MSE had vanished. Hope the withdrawal isn't too bad Hypno and eeek to the £1K adrift especially with Ski payment due next month but after you've converted all today's freebie clients in to paying ones things will look brighter. Hopefully the pipeline stuff will materialise. I'm off to attempt understanding spread betting again this morning as my pipeline is a bit empty.
I waved as I passed MK KC. Hope you had a FAB time. I did despite National Express's best efforts to maim me ! (Post on Travel forum later today)
LJD1 (may I call you LJ ?) Thanks for your PM-no of course I don't mind-the sig is there for just that reason
Hope my reply helped

Hiya! It seems a million years doesn't it, just shows how important the site is! But hypno, yikes, £1000 adrift is a lot, and thats your ordinary money, not even the ski fund... scary... and the ski fund isn't shifting much now.... hope the pipeline is working overtime for you. You know, that pipeline where money effortlessly arrives when you turn a tap on.
Duchy, sorry about your accident - I thought of you waving at MK on the Saturday! It was lovely, I posted *endlessly* on my thread - as I've said on there, I can't figure out how to put images from my computer up on the web, tho I did it really recently. Any tips, anyone?
Still treasuring those moments, and loved having time with a friend of mine, recently recovered from cancer, who's almost as batty about Michael as I am, and is also an actual autograph collector, as opposed to me, who is just a Michael moments collector - had a happy time on youtube yesterday hunting such things, instead of being on here! Naughty, I know.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Re: being over your overdraft the day your husbands wages went in, would it help to change the date of your direct debits? With your income being staggered you might be able to get in enough to cover everything if you change the date? Just a thought.0
