Sorry for being so gloomy today - have run out of energy!!

Better start getting ready for next batch of clients....

Tomorrow I have no clients so can lounge around in slobby clothes all day, but I do have LOADS and LOADS to do so hopefully an early night tonight will fire me up with extra energy.........if anyone has any spare feel free to chuck
it my way!!

Hey you, come on, don't be so tough on yourself. Yes you set yourself a hard target with the genuine belief that you could manage it, but look at the step you've made so far, 2 grand from being ultra resourceful and determined. I don't think i'd call that bloody stupid.
You are a very loving mother with the best interests for her children at heart, don't put yourself down for that. You are rewarded in turn with 2 very loving generous children and you can't be faulted for aiming so high. Show me another child that would gladly hand their birthday money over to a holiday fund without cries of "it's not fair!" you/we can still do this, maybe not the full 7k but theres certainly some more in there

I know you've had some blows over the last few days hon and crappy post is never good to get. Come round, have a coffee in a germ infested house, bring all your facts and figures with you and we will see what we can do and where we can do it. maybe a fresh pair of eyes may point some things out?

Hmmmm, you and me both, still in me dressing gown right now!! can't get my antibiotics as chemists don't have it in stock:mad: i'll go halvsies on the spare energy if ok?!:rolleyes:

You can both have some of my energy! I have loads, but managed to hurt my back swimming last night so can't use any without hurting myself!

I have loads of pain killers if they are any help!

What a lovely post, pania, and how lucky you and hypno are to have each other for real,not just virtual, support.

I hope you feel a lot better very soon so you can cheer hypno up a bit. She's been a tower of strength to the rest of us and I hate to see her feeling down.

And no mention of how to control your spending! As if going into an IVA is going to help you control your spending GRRRRR :mad: OK it can help ease the amount you pay for your debts, but will it help you address why you are spending and getting yourself into a problem in the first place - only true debt counselling, or MSE can help with that!

And thanks for the hugs, smilies (even the dodgy ones!) and all that stuff......just one of those days!!

Lucy, I am sorry you have hurt your back - I hope it gets better soon!

P, Do you want me to come and get your prescription and get your drugs from the City? Let me know if you do - Boots on Riverside is open until midnight so I can get them for you if you want - might help you get better?

Since I've been off work I'm staggered by how many of these adverts are on during the day...and I only watch one programme during the day (Loose Women, if you're interested!!).

If it's not IVA adverts it's "Sell your house to us and rent it back" (Yeah, and will you pay full value and how much rent so you charge??) or "Come to Brighthouse and you can buy a washer / TV / sofa and pay in easy installments" (Yeah, at 30% interest!!) or "take out our lovely secured loans - why not borrow £25,000 and pay back £48,000 and your wife can film you as you make the loan application over the phone" (Now, what's that about, and what sort of an idiot can't tell whther the thunder's outside his house or on the other end of the phone? Has he no windows???) or the latest I saw "Bring your gold into us and we'll pay you a pittance for it" or something along those lines. And what really annoys me is because there is such an abundance of these kinds of adverts during the day, they are obviously aimed at people out of work!

Grrr!
