Thanks for the offer re the antibiotics. amazes me that in the winter, when people are ill, pharmacists "didn't expect the rush!!" Managed to get doc to prescribe me a differnet type, still suitable for those allergic to amoxycillin and managed to drive myself into our town to collect them (OH popped in to pharmacist, I just drove:mad: ) So now on the antibiotics so hopefully they will start tomake an impression.

Going back to the ads on TV just seen a "Brighthouse" ad, you can have whatever you want for your house from our store, even if you can't afford it! we'll just make you pay us each week at an extortionate interest rate and that tv will cost you 1000000 instead of 100!!:mad:

Just cooking salmon and broccoli pasta with cream......basic but incredibly yummy! Am very hungry right now so making food a-plenty!!

Trick or treating round here has been excellent - good humored, and very polite kids. We have run out of sweets though (and I haven't even pinched any) so OH has had to go and replenish supplies!! DD went out with her friends and our student, and DS is with his friend in another village.

Hope everyone is having a good halloween and that the kids round your way are as polite as those near us today!!

Yes, getting to £2500 is realistic, so that will be my aim.

I have to admit, I have sort of pinned my hopes on the job big time. I will be sooo disappointed if I don't get it - it is just what I want, not just financially but for ME too. We shall just have to wait and see, and I fully accept that I will not be the only fantabulous applicant and may not get it (see, trying to be reasonable :rolleyes: ).

Now munching on leftover sweets....hurrah for trick or treat!!
