Snaggles - how could you think that "spend an inordinate amount of time on MSE" is missing - what do you think I will be doing every time it says "have more coffee!"Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. are you back from the shop? you have permission to buy dowe egberts coffee from now on, so many uses for the jars over on the celebrations board the £3 is nearly justifiable!!! oooh i feel all inspired now!! xxxdebt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0

Hi P, I was being very good at the shop - Fairtrade coffee was on offer, so was cheaper than my usual (Kenco). Being a good DFW and also on the basis it was Fairtrade, I felt pretty good with myself for buying it.
Have made the first cup, and it tastes...........pants!
Oh well, stuck with it now........can I still justify buying Douwe Egberts.......just for the jar? Hmm....not on my shopping budget for the month sadly!!

Oh yeah, I remember, the box on Martin's budget planner that I had to leave blank until income significantly increases:rotfl:

If you mean tomorrow - then I am about as ready as I can be - done lots of research, spoken to a girl who already works there, spoken to the wonderful Fishface69 who gave me some valuable advice.
All I need to do really is to work out what to wear, and what to do with my hair - "don't mess with me, school marm" type, or "behind this soft fluffy exterior lies a woman of steel" type or my current style of "can't be ar$3d to do anything with it today so take me as you find me" typeSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. go for a bun or a twisty uppy doo, I know dress code for emergency services/prisons is usually off the collar so tied back would definately be good.
great to hear you feel well prepared. will make you feel sooo confident which is fab. pop in for a cuppa on the way back and tell me how it went. Will promise not to sneeze on you. xxdebt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -
Wow this site is seriously useful!
Not just money-saving, but relationship advice and job advice and even hairdressing advice.
I love it0 -
Morning Hypno. I sympathise with your wobble last night. It is really really hard.
Don't ever blame yourself if you don't come up with the full £7k for skiing. You have already magicked £2k out of nowhere, and given them a week's skiing in Austria. Didn't a wise man once say (was it Homer Simpson, or perhaps Southern Scouser?) That it's better to aim high and fail than aim low and succeed?
GOOD LUCK with the interview tomorrow. Great you've had some expert advice. I find it hard to imagine they will have any other applicants even more super-duper than you.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620
