I will have one more coffee, get changed out of my slobby joggers, and head into town The job will not start until New year I think so whether they will take their time making decisions I don't know!

I have just had a lovely phone call from the first Norwegian Student that we had a few years ago. He is now doing his military service and progressing really well. It was just really nice to have a phone call completely out of the blue, just saying hi etc. These kids really do become part of the family while they are here and whilst we keep in touch on facebook etc, it is something different to talk to them again.

So, I have that warm "glow" from that phone call. Just what I needed!

How sweet of your 'old' student to phone you. He must have become really fond of you and the family to go to the trouble to do that.

Or maybe he was getting some 'vibes' that you were feeling down and needed cheering up:rotfl: . His call obviously did the trick.

Actually probably very little.
I'm feeling blue (there's a wave of pooey feelings on the Daily chat thread too).
Can't list anything on e-bay cos the batteries are flat and I can't find the cable-thingy.
It's raining
OH's money is less than expected, and later than wanted.

But at least it's a NSD (couldn't be *rs*d to shop when I went to the bank)
So no further into debt.

Imp, yes good vibes def came down the phone line. He rang OH too, so cheered both of us up Bless - perhaps he is "homesick" for England.....or at least homesick for the cheap alcohol prices :rotfl:
