    Hi hypno!

Your comment about buying yourself brand name shampoo made me think of buying myself a treat last week, I was pretty down and I thought my flat transfer wouldnt complete so I bought a jam donught from a local bakery - it cost 50p  Which I thought was hideously expensive and I still feel guilty for it.

Should have waited till after work and gone to Asda, you get 4 or 5 for 99p and thats much better value ;)

Yes, but a treat is supposed to be slightly naughty. That's why we like them :D

And if you had bought 5 for 99p from the supermarket, you would made yourself sick, and that is not so much of a treat is it?

    Hi hypno....

Sorry - I have only just read your thread about the insurance and I can't believe they won't pay. well actually I can as I always thought insurers were just institutionalised robbers. But still I am totally disgusted on your behalf. I really really hope you can get somewhere if you complain the ombudsman.

Also - enjoy the shampoo & conditioner! I have used that brand before and it ain't half bad (though I am loyal to MOP now :D) I think you will definitely like your hair after using it.

Someone once left theirs in the changing room at the swimming pool, and it somehow found its way into my bag.....

There was only enough for one shampoo and condition, but it was enough for me to lust after "proper stuff" for many many months :o

Now I have some of my own :j

Ohhh don't you just love it when you can spend what is relatively a small amount of money on something and it brings you such pleasure!?

Some people have to spend thousands on tacky baubles, obscene cars and the like...and they're still not happy!

Hmmmm I too love Mr Frieda's shampoo for brunettes:rotfl:
And you NEED the conditioner too, otherwise the shampoo doesn't work on its own, so would be a waste of money, HONEST;)

Are you intending doing all these explosive visits on one day, or perhaps a series of events is being planned in the lj household.....
    World, watch out!!!

I do feel much better this evening. I am determined to have a good day tomorrow. I am even considering starting flylady again as my house is not so much of a calm tranquil place to sit and relax with a glass of wine, more resembling one of those places that LJ has just blown up!!
