Hi Seaxwyn, what worries me is that he says it is not working now. I know it was working when I sent it, but if it is returned not working, then I may not be able to re-sell it at all.
Right now I just feel as though every time I feel as though I may be getting through these tough times, something else comes along to bite me on the bum. As it is I have had to not take the children to one of their ski races today, making lame excuses to the others because to say "can't afford it" doesn't make sense to most of them, and DH car is off the road because I can't afford the tax.
I KNOW that this is just a blip, and I know that I am better off than I would have been this time last year, etc etc, but I hate it sometimes! (I know you understand so you can be on the other end of my rant right now)
Might go and make another coffee. Take a nice deep breath.....and another.....and another........Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Hypno, I still have one pack of jaffa cakes left - want to share?
Sorry to hear about your eBay problems, I know a few people have had success selling broken 'stuff' on eBay so even if your buyer has broken it and then had the cheek to send it back, it might still be worth something.
Sending you a huge ((((HUG)))) because you sound like you need one."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

Hi hypno - rant away - I do understand and sympathise
Being in debt is totally pants and not being able to pay for your children to do things is the worst feeling of all.
This is just a blip, but that doesn't make it feel any better at the time.
I don't seem to have the hugs smilie but have a huge hug anyway.
Ps - sorry mumsy question but are you sure it's a good idea to drink coffee at this time of night?Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -
I have been drinking decaf since about 10am! I have real coffee first thing and then onto decaf after that.
Thanks for being mumsy though xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Hi hypno I hope you have a better week

A good start to the week - I did 5 hours invigilating, when I was only expecting about half that, so all money in next month's pot!
Then this afternoon my ebay stuff has ended - over £750 in total!!!!
Most of it is in paypal already, so I just hope there are no problems with it as I couldn't bear to refund!!
After paying for OH motorbike to be fixed (£70 ish) there will be a good chunk to pay off the dreaded egg card - it will soon be under 4 figures if all goes according to plan!
So, let's hope that this good luck is sustainable, at least for the rest of the week!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Hypno..that's great...wow...what a lot on e-bay!!!!......that's going to make some dent in your debt and with the invigilating as well..you'll soon hit that £10000 mark....so glad you're having some luck honey..0

Fantastic going Hypno! Just brilliant
The meal plans you outlined earlier are fabulous too - will be taking some of those suggestions I think!
Hope your ds's cough is getting better now.
