I agree with taxi(Hi taxi:beer: ) about the 'burn-out'. I've never met you and probably never will, but I can still worry about you!
I thought your Uni job was just for Mondays and here you are about to do a third day this week. I know you want to clear your debts etc. asap but please don't wear yourself into the ground.
Don't want to hijack your diary but I used to be a workoholic and thrived on it until it started to go pear-shaped and the only one who couldn't see the signs was me:o . I ended up seriously ill and had to give up my job altogether. Although I made a 'full' recovery I'm not the person I was. My confidence took a severe knock as I realised that I couldn't cope with the one thing in life I thought I was good at
I know this won't happen to you as you seem to have a close family unit and lots of people who care about you but then, I didn't think it could happen to me either:rolleyes:
Take care of yourself

Hey hypno - hope the sore throat doesn't develop into anything worse.
If it does, I think it's clear you are instructed by a few billion of us to REST.
OK...?Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.

Evening hypno. Can I add my vote that you need to REST REST and REST some more!!! Mmmm, think I got my point across. I think you need to tell your body that you haven't scheduled illness in to your busy timetable. Hope you're on the mend soon.
On a work note, how's your business going? Is hot stones one of the courses you've done? I've just done a taster day and it was great fun. Catch up soon xx
PS Don't forget to REST!January budget

Morning! I came home from college and more or less went straight to bed. Very tired and full of a cold. I slept badly, so feel crappy this morning. Oh well, once I get up and going, hopefully I will feel ok.
So, another day at work today - could do without it, but once today is over, I am back to just Mondays. I am only doing these extra days to cover holidays, but that ends today, so back to "normal" soon.

Thanks Snaggles, lovely photo of Natasha on your Avatar, by the way!
I have amended my signature for a while - thought that while I am not overpaying as I used to, I might get demotivated as far as the debt is concerned, even though the ski total is rising, so rather than risk feeling a failure (which I don't, but equally I don't want to!) I have taken out some of my previous expectations!
This doesn't mean I am giving up, just hoping to take some of the pressure off that I put upon myself.
See, I am listening to you lot about burnout etc!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Morning all
I think you're been very sensible Hypno and no it is NOT giving up it's just releasing a little bit of the pressure for now to ensure success long term.
Had a FAB day yesterday-front row seat at the TV studios, quick chat with the lovely Mr O who also signed a birthday card for a friend for later in the year for me and the show was hysterical-Paul O'Grady at his most caustic (off camera even funnier and a lot ruder) and caught up with some friends I've not seen in ages (and kept to budget too !!)

can't say i blame you for cuting the challenges etc back a bit, atleast you're taking the pressure off a bit.
Big hugs for today. xxdebt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0
