Morning hypno! Good luck colouring in those boxes!

My 'How to get organised' book arrived yesterday and is sitting by my bed exuding organisation vibes. I certainly need them as I'm juggling too much work this week and also juggling money between empty accounts as one client appears to have lost my last two invoices - grrrrrr! These things are sent to try us. Right, off to make some ready brek, catch you later.

Morning! Hi LJD, nice to see you about!

Taxi, yes we have asked some people for cash instead of pressies but others we know buy throughout the year, in typical MSE style, so we will not be broaching the subject with them because it will put them under pressure, and I know myself I would find it difficult if it was the other way round.

So for those who usually ring me and say "any ideas what to get them for Christmas" - they have been asked not to buy anything for us or for the children, but for others who have a known "present cupboard" we will leave things as they are.

The same applies for DS's birthday next week - he has a couple of small presents that are either ski-related or out of the present cupboard, and the rest is hopefully money that he knows to put towards the trip/new ski boots/etc

The children are pretty good about this - they have always had their kit bought for them for birthdays/christmas because we can't afford to buy it as and when they need it, and one year DS raced in Norway and had the choice between Christmas presents or the trip to Norway.

They certainly won't be moaning if their stockings look pretty bare!!

Today I am client free until this afternoon, so hopefully a chance to catch up a bit (my kitchen is an absolute disaster area) with the housework, and get a load on ebay!

Keep the ideas coming, nothing is stupid!!

I hope you all have a good day xx

Morning ladies! You crept on while I was typing!!

Thanks for the continued encouragement, and good luck Seaxwyn with starting to get organised. It is certainly an eye-opener in my experience!!

And juggling money between empty accounts - yup, can relate to that. Students money still not in, and another loan payment out tomorrow!! Ho hum........

good morning you good to hear that things are going well for you today and glad theeres some progress on the coloured boxes!
I've been thinking about our conversation on the book and so far without even eading it i've tidied the study and considered how my disorganised ways are affecting my work, Such as the other day i parked my car far to far from someones house by mistake then by time i realised it was easier to keep walking for an extra 3 or 4 minutes than go back!! thought to myself "bet hypno's book would yell at me for this, it's my fault, i just don't think!!" he he.
Have a great day, set that timer, and flylady the kitchen!!! :-)

So what small DFW things will I be doing today? I know that you're Really Interested
    - posted out a book sold on Amazon (I'm a bit confused, I did it yesterday really, but don't think I told you?)
    - 14 things on e-bay finish tonight/tomorrow and I have bids on 9 of them. :j (a first for me :p )
    - mystery shop last night. But calculated time/petrol/extra expense and turned down some that were offered because it was for one persons meal & drink. It would cost more to buy the 2nd meal & drink than we'd earn (including what we'd save having supper bought for us) Does not doing a MS count as money saving?
    -done my clicks.
-will withdraw my bingo deposits (only slightly reduced :o ) when Quidco pays out, currently validated.

Sorry for clogging up the wrong thread again Hypno. But I need this daily fix ;) :cheesy:

    Hi Hypno

Have you thought of trying your local Rotary/Lions/similar places for donations towards the ski trip? I know they're always quite willing to help out with Guides and Scouts who are going on international trips so I don't see why they'd turn down your two!
