yep same with me, if i feel it coming on but don't have any anadin by the time i get to them it's usually way to late! different medications work for different people, Just as the boss "battles through" i can eat nurofen like smarties and still be in as much pain whereas anadin just do it!! 16p paracetamol! yep i've seen them they're great! also try one of those wheatbags that you can heat in the microwave. i lay on my front with that over my neck, the heat relieves the muscle tension and i find the weight on my neck helps to relieve it to. even just sitting in work at a chair with it round you may help. You really do have my extremest sympathies though.
Have you had an eye test lately?
(sorry for threadjacking hypno. xx)
Hi Pania (sorry about the hijack Hypno)
I’ve got one of those wheatbags (given to us by a friend – I forget why, I think it might have been when I tore a muscle in my back) – I never thought about using to relieve a migraine or headache. I shall have to give it a go next time.
Re eye test – that is a very long story! I will try and keep it short - I wore glasses for over 20 years but then they discovered (after seeing a Consultant) the problem all along was not my eyesight but my eye muscles. I had what they called convergent deficiency. After doing lots of exercises to strengthen the muscles, this sorted the problem out. I have not worn glasses for about 2 years and it is about 18 months since I was discharged by the Orthoptist.
Sorry again for the hijack Hypno. Really pleased to hear that you found your diary – what a relief!!

I have access to the internet at work!!!!!
Although, with only working one day a week, I really should not do more than pop on MSE more than is absolutely necessary (so how often is that then??????????!!!!!)
Hope everyone is ok, thanks for the concern about the diary! Better get on with some work again!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Hey Hypno, have you got a spare potato handy? Got one of those spots!
Glad to hear you found the diary, I don't have one but I'd feel similar if I lost my phone which has all sorts of useful stuff stored in it. Have got most of it written down elsewhere but finding it could be interesting!
Anyway, get back to work!;)

All this talk of migraine filtered through to DS today - OH got a call from the school to say DS had a migraine and had been sick three times!!
All the adrenaline of the weekend, combined with not enough water drunk I think holds the key. Thankfully, after medicine and a sleep he was up and raring to go - I just hope he sleeps tonight now!
We had a huge lamb casserole for dinner, courtesy of the weekend's leftover free food. Very nice, and very free!! The best type of dinner ever!
Will be having an early night though now, hope you all have a good evening xxSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
