bleurrgghhh it is morning already! Another full day ahead, the children skiing again, and I am working in the coffee shop this morning. I did 5 hours yesterday there, which was enough, and will do similar today I expect. It all helps - I don't get paid for it, but do exchange my time there for "ski hours" for the kids to use, so well worth it.

Moneywise, I have £6 left from the money I earnt from clients this weekend, so that will just have to last the day. That means I need to make a pack up before I go.

    So, best get moving............aaarrgghhh!

Good grief hypno! £7000  Well, like people have been saying, if anyone can do it, you can. Your whole family is extraordinary - the effort you all put in to what you do is just fantastic. I do hope the local paper will get involved. I can hear that there are local kids go out every year, but that doesn't mean the paper won't want to publish about them. And their own schools *must* want to get involved, surely, thats got to be great points for them.

Anyway, I'll be thinking of you today - you and your mb, bingo bagging, coffee shopping, ebaying, carbooting and anything else you can lay your hands on!

Well done the ski-ing-mini-hypnos! (they're too young and need to keep fit, but I'll happily have their share.)

WOW to adding £7,000  Hypno. I'll be keeping you company on the jog to £35K. We've postponed the buying of the car until +/- December so I'm sort of saving for that increase to our debt. :p You know about the hare and the tortoise? Our jog may well come up trumps.

And of course I still have my secret and cunning plan. :rotfl:

And you have a number of weeks now when you can let their rooms, there must be someone who needs a room just for those particular weeks?

Hypno, why don't you set up a JustGiving page for them ... its a site where people can make online donations towards your fund. I had a page when I did the marathon and IA ha one for her Race For Life. It doesn't cost anything to set up and it gives people the opportunity to contribute online to help.
Definatly get the school involved, they could even help organise sponsored events through the school, eg. a mufty day type of thing, I know the school I'm at would love the good publicity it generates for them too! .... when do you need the money by again?

We need to raise the money by the end of November - so loads of time (!!!!!!)

Oh well, a challenge never did anyone any harm!!

Racing is still going on here but I am happy because I have managed to get help from one of the equipment providers for the kids skis for the season. I got all their skis (6 pairs) at cost price which is 40% of retail price :j

Have also arranged to have a look through some second hand stuff - they have everything already, but need double or triple the amount because they will be away for so long, so hopefully I can get at least some of it second hand.

DD has been entering ski sponsorship competitions all weekend - hopefully one of them will pay off!

Back to it! I hope you are all having a good day!!
