Good luck for the interview tomorrow and have a good day - sounds lovely especially after what sounds like a busy and stressful week, I know you've got the determination to pick yourself up and keep doing though - had to chuckle at the dancing hypno bit earlier (although I was at work so it was a quiet chuckle in case they all think I'm mad :rolleyes:)

Your kids are amazing Hypno, I can't imagine even thinking about cross country running during the school holidays! Could they do the skiing professionally as they get older?

Sounds like a fantastic idea. Will be leaving for catton at about 1 so lots of time inbetween.Nope have to admit the idea of cc running would NOT have been my idea of fun whilst at school, Good for them for doing it!

Will definately call TD waterhouse tomorrow, am going to set up accounts for OH to. I've had an e-mail from barclays so hopefully satement will appear shortly.

Morning all, today marks OH payday so moving money around to various "pots" to see us through September and work out our shortfall so we know what we have got to do to survive!

Hi ATB, well, given my sore neck etc, dancing is minimal, but I am sure that we will have a good time, in any event - the weather forecast says that it will be dry so that will make a good start to the evening.

Have you got any ebay bits left over to pop on? Have you ever done a meal plan for the whole month? I did this once before and although it seems a little too organised (well for me at least!), it really put an end to the beginning-of-the-month panics, as I knew that there would definately be tea on the table, and I knew what it would be. Sounds a bit sad but it worked for me x

I generally meal plan for a week at a time, but I may give a month's plan a go. I do have £60 to come from a bingo thing, and a little from mystery shopping, but I will just have to take it carefully again.

It is not the food side of things so much - I can eke out marvellous meals from a minimum, although the freezer is pretty empty, but I can do a "shop" armed with a meal plan, and get through. It is more the petrol side of things I think - we really do need to get a car that runs on air alone!!

More casino bagging planned for this afternoon, OH got a nice Betfair promo email, fortunately it's OK for Blackjack. OH says I've got to hurry up and learn poker now, so we can do more! Eldest son has said he'll teach me the basics I used to hate statistics and probability theory at school, but now I quite like it
