I am OK thanks...same old same old at work but wheels are slowly beginning to turn on that - I will launch into a full on 'campaign' after holiday in September though.
I am glad you had a freebie meal! Can't say I would like it though being a veggie *but* of course I appreciate the MSE/DFW sentiment!
You'll have to report on how OH gets on with more phone calls...I'll be curious to know!
I am selling another 200 point till spit - it's over £3 now and it has 3 people watching so maybe it will go over £4 again?
I am really wondering what to do when I get my Tesco vouchers through with the quarterly stuff - you know your rewards etc that are tied in to your clubcard. There are always things I won't use so, I'll be looking into what you can do to sell them on EBAY too.Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.

I sold £21 of clubcard vouchers last month for just over £40 - well worth doing!
I will be doing the same when the next lot arrive, any day now.....:D

hi el, well, if you get say, £10 of clubcard vouchers, this is worth £10 off your shopping at tesco.
Or, you can exchange them in "deals" for things that are up to 4 times the value. So for example, if a ticket to alton towers costs, say £20, you could exchange £5 clubcard voucher for £20 of alton towers tickets!
So some people are prepared to pay £10 for a £5 clubcard voucher which means that they still get £20 worth of alton towers tickets for their £10.
I think :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Hi LJD! I am getting a bit narked now with my neck, but am getting there!
Tesco have just delivered - I have never seen so much "value" stuff in my life! I just typed in "value" on the search on tesco site and everything appeared - dead easy to buy masses of stuff without spending much!! Excellent! I haven't done tesco shopping online for years and had forgotten how easy it is! total spend, including delivery because i couldn't get a code to work was £43.20 but I did forget milk. Hi hypno
Hope mummy-taxi wasn't too draining - you sound like today has been a good one, with moose and blackcurrants as an evening meal, nice one. I still haven't got up to the top of the garden to pick the blackberries - hopefully they're still there....
Ugh to the Egg card, but hurray to the adding up and putting the tax cost on the end........ grossing up coffee, such an appropriate turn of phrase, tee hee.
I use the Olympic Challenge to take account of money saved - like a Borders voucher for 20% off that saved me £4 off a book for work - and also its a fallback for money actually gained, like from selling stuff and doing surveys. The money is put in a separate account that I'll use to make a payment off the mortgage one fine day. But I never thought of grossing it up for tax - tho since its in the account my main taxable income goes into, I'll have to! Have a good evening anyway, what's left of it.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
hello!! Well, one of my free weekend matched bets has settled, giving me a profit of about £36. Hopefully I can get a similar amount tomorrow. all helps in the war against the evil egg card!! 100 of those and OH's egg card will be gone too!! (if only it was that easy!!).
Tomorrow is our mystery shop to a National Trust property, so basically a free trip out for us all. All in all, our week has been fairly good - making us really appreciate what is important in life (although a trip to the seychelles wouldn't go amiss).
Getting tired now, having done nothing all day! So will have a quick catch up of other threads then head off to bye byes!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Good morning,
Pleased to hear the moose was nice.
OH was up bright and early, the first thing he did was check Betfair, our first pair of matched bets finished last night, and £71 extra in the account this morning :j Thanks Hypno, I think it was your experience that gave the extra nudge that made us try it.0 -
MOrning Hypno...enjoy your day out and hopefully the weather where you are is better than here...It's pouring down and blowing a gale here!!0
