I knew it would be skiing lol - I think I broke my little finger on my one and only attempt at skiing (on the upside down brush type of artificial slope) - got my finger caught in one of the holes as I fell. I never got it checked but it was swollen and sore for weeks and still aches sometimes even now (it was about 16 years ago :eek: god that makes me feel old)!

Yes mine were both on the dry slopes (different slopes too!) but both times I was racing.

But I still love to ski - it gives me my "buzz". Will take more than a couple of broken thumbs to get me off the mountain!!

Ahhh right - so the recording studio is to do with the hypnotherapy. I was trying to work that out. Have you done any NLP? I've been trying to suss out how you'd use a recording studio for reflexology! Hope your wrist is better quickly xx

NLP plays a big part of my work too, also do some other bits and pieces - my website is on my profile if you want a peek! I do love what I do - won't ever get rich from it but, hey, money isn't everything is it!!

At least you were doing something impressive when you broke yours (the ski racing) - I was just stood at the top of the (very tiny) slope, thinking 'Oh my god, I can't do this'....and lo and behold, I couldn't! I tried to move, my feet shot forward but my body didn't, and I ended up flat on my back with my hand wedged into the slope! I untangled myself, and went down the rest of it on my bum, and have never worn a pair of skis since! :rotfl:

Cool, going to look at your website now. I still don't have one but that's the plan for this year. I've done a few NLP taster days and I can honestly say it's amazing stuff. I just use it for everyday things for me but have found it helps my daughter big time as she's a quiet child. The NLP gives her so much confidence though she doesn't know she's doing it. I know what you mean about never being rich but i'm like you, I love what I do and never wake up wishing I wasn't working. Right, going to have a look now xx

Do you mind if I have a look too - I've only just barely heard of NLP, but I have a child who, amongst other things, has low self esteem - is it something that could help him?
