Hi LJD, It is nothing special - just my lafuma chair that my clients sit in for treatments. I just decided to sit in it - no one doing my feet, sadly, and it was so comfy I fell asleep!!
I have no one to therapy swap with unfortunatelybut it is a really good thing to be able to do!
Can't you find someone locally to swap with. I know what you mean about relaxing in the chair. Sometimes I just sit in my treatment room for some peace and quiet as it's attached to the house. Which treatments do you do? xxJanuary budget

Ooh, another dfw baby, great stuff. And hypno, hope you enjoyed the diner, sounds like it was a whole-family trip, thats lovely - did you enjoy? what did you have? How are you?2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Good morning Hypno,
Hope the Diner was good. Everyone needs a treat at times.
Mine are adults, so the treat meals are more expensive when you add the wine and beer to the bill. They're still students, so guess who pays!
Anyway next 'treat' is to celebrate eldest starting a postgrad and his birthday. Fortunately won 2 nights for 4 in a 4* hotel in the city where he'll be, including a meal for 4 (with wine) on one night, so we have the accom for us and his brother and girlfriend, and will only pay for the extra person at the meal on one night. The 2nd night I've cashed in £25 of Tesco's vouchers, for £100 of Bella Italia, so most of that is organised tooIt's nice when things come together.
Been busy on my admin list, but most of it's come to an halt waiting for replies from people, but still plodding through it. From your posts it sounds like your admin attack was more successful.
Hope you're feeling better this morning.
P.S. I do goo at babies, but not broody, we're enjoying our 'relative' freedom too much.0 -
Morning all! Last night's meal was good - we walked down to the restaurant, so saved money on petrol, and didn't have starters or puddings, only had one drink each and the children both had a junior "meal deal" thing so they got ice cream and drink included.
So all in, it cost about £23 - so not too bad for a family outing, We still have another BOGOF voucher for there, so will probably go again at the end of the summer holidays and do a similar thing.
Today I have checked online banking and OH got paid more for his second job than I had budgetted, so my spreadsheet is looking healthier for next month, and I have been paid for some mystery shopping, so that is all good news too.
Today I have a day full of clients and running the children to various sports activities, so won't be on MSE much I don't think, sadly!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Hi LIH, we just went to Zaks in our village - it is a nice 15 minute "amble" there and back. It was just really nice to do somthing different, that we could all enjoy! Also I had promised DS I would take him to see Harry Potter but my back hurt too much so he was a bit upset - this made up for it for him I think.
We have received confirmation of our next foreign student, arrives 2nd September so first monthly payment will be shortly after :jSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. Good morning, hypno.
That sounds a lovely evening and a great way to start the children's summer holidays. I always seemed to feel a bit sad and 'empty' at the end of a school year, although euphoric at the same time. If your two are the same a lovely and reasonably rare(I'm assuming:rotfl: ) meal out will have been a brilliant treat for them.
Have you still use of the loan car? Are you enjoying it? I hope it isn't a 'gas-guzzler' after your sterling efforts so far to cut down on transport costs.
Have a good day

Ha Ha Imp, the car is indeed a gas guzzler - very nice but.....
Of course OH thinks it is a fab toy and is hoping we still have it when we go to Devon on our hols so that he can do some motorway driving in it (we are lucky if we have even a dual carriageway round these here parts!).
The meal was indeed a rare occasion, so much enjoyed!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

I know what you mean, LIH - our eating habits change drastically when the student goes! I hope you are able to make the most of your week to yourselves!
