Hi BAUK and Karma
I do my mystery shopping with GFK - have done for about 5 years and they are pretty good I think. I do the odd bit for Grassroots but not been with them very long. Seem ok to me. When I was working I used to combine the visits with my lunch hour - money for nothing really. Now I do less because I have to offset the time it takes to go and do the job with the amount I get paid and whether I could make better, more productive use of the time any other way.
Just been to Tescos and for the first time (shame on me for not doing it sooner) I took my own carrier bags so got "green clubcard points". Will def be doing it again as it was no effort! Managed to get everything on my list without getting too carried away - only extras I bought were reduced meats to go in the freezer which will form the basis of next week's meal plan, and I was well within my budget so all good!!
OH is packing stuff up that we have sold on ebay and I am going to put the kettle on and start thinking about dinner. I don't think the gammon will be ready for lunch so will do fish instead. The gammon can do "ham egg and chips" tomorrow. YUMSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. Morning Hypno, just managed to catch up with all the action after a day out yesterday. Things going great here, i'm really pleased for you that it is going so well there too.
Your quote re ham egg and chips has made me hungry! OH wanting a fry up so may well pop and make one.
Whats the bit re 500 points for a tesco quote? any chance you can let me know? sorry for being cheeky. Must remember carrier bags when i go shopping, have started throwing them away now which is really really bad. Used to have one of the cupboard bins that you hung a carrier in but got a big one now so feel really guilty chucking them out.
Hope you have a great day today whatever your up to and that ebay goes really well. I'm feeling much much better now so spending the day trying to catch up on all the work i have to do, both employed and house based work!!
Qualified for my free sportingbet £25 on tuesday so looking forward to adding to my MB profit soon, think it currently stands at about £112!! YAY!!
Right, off for a fry up. CHat soon!!debt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -
Hi P! Glad things are going well for you and hope you enjoy the fry up
The tesco 500pts thing was on Martin's weekly newsletter - if you have a look just to the right of these threads there is a bit that says "highlights: week of 04 Jul 2007" Click on that and go to the bit that says Free £20 of Tesco Deals.
Dead easy - just need to ring for a car insurance quote and they will credit you with 500 points on the next statement.
Re sportingbet - don't forget to email them tomorrow otherwise they won't credit you on Tuesday.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Hiya
I'll bear gfk in mind - I'm so far away from you geographically, it can't possibly be a clash of interest, lol! I did the car insurance thing, and got the 500 pts - despite not having a car, I was very enthusiastic about buying one, and had done a search on high street web (earning 2p!) to be specific about the model etc. It was great!
Housework. Wozzat?:rotfl:
