Hi hypno, sorry to hear about the glitch - I can well understand you feel devastated, but even tho its only just happened, you're back already! Your energy is really surging at the moment, you'll be back on track very soon, I can tell. All the best2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Thanks KC. If this had happened a couple of weeks ago, I would have just sat down, cried, and not had the energy to get up.
As it is, I have used it quite positively I think as a kick to get moving again! And........I didn't even go out and buy chocolate to get me through!!! Hi Hypno, just caught up with your thread and sending you big hugs. These things are sent to try us and sometimes we need knock backs to force us to focus just a bit more. You have done tremendously well over the last few months and you will continue to do well over the coming months. Don't let this get you down, pick yourself up, brush yourself off and soldier on. YOU WILL GET THERE x0

Well, I have done the template for July's spreadsheet. Too tired to put figures in now, but will do so tomorrow so that I can see what I need to do to get right back on track.

Good on you hypno - hope you have a productive day.
Just in case you haven't seen it, Tashja has posted a phone no on WhiteLily's thread thread about claiming old tax credits - you can phone and get an instant answer on whether you're owed them. Unfortunately not in my case.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -
Hi Hypno,
It's a right b*gger about your total increasing, but to be honest May was such a horrible month for the Hypno household that who's to blame you for taking your eye off the ball for a short while.
As you say yourself, it's acted as a wake up call, and will actually mean you're more positive about tackling the debt than before, which can only be good in the long term.

PROUD TO [STRIKE]BE DEALING [/STRIKE] HAVE DEALT WITH MY DEBT0 -
Morning all, done a few hours invigilating this morning, OH has put something else on ebay, and I have clients this afternoon/evening so not too bad here. Will be doing a little matched betting in between hopefully, and popping back on DFW from time to time I am sure!
Hope everyone else is well today. I will be giving the tax office a call about the tax credits - you never know!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Hi everyone!
I am sorry Hypno that your debt went temporarily up. Unfortunatly it does happen sometimes and its how we deal with all these things that counts. I found out that my ex hadnt paid his share of the mortgage when I had given him the money to do that and agreed extra in the buy out figure and the bank didnt tell me untill it reached 2k. When I opened the letter I cried my eyes out all night but the next day you just have to pick yourself up and carry on as best you can.
Good luck with the tax credits I shall keep my fingers crossed for you and other DFWs with kids.Debt Free - done

Evening everyone - just got back from seeing clients, and I am fit to drop!
Today I have been reasonably good - found quite a few clubcard vouchers that I have yet to use, and did my piggy clicks. Came on the boards briefly at lunchtime and caught up with the bank charge reclaim thread. It seems that a few people are ringing the litigation dept once they have a court date, and are receiving settlements out of court, so I plucked up the courage to do the same, only to be told to call back next month!!!
At least it wasn't an outright "bu&&er off" so I suppose that is fairly positive, although there was no sign of "the money will be in your account by the end of the week".
Have also started putting in my figures for July's spreadsheet, trying to make sure things don't spiral out of control. It will certainly be tight, but we HAVE to manage - will be seeking out help from the old style board to make things go further!
Hope everyone else is ok!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
