Ump well, with the cost of Chinese labour still be believed to be low by yesterday's capitalists, many many screws to assemble is not a big issue. Many value engineered products have about 2 screws to retain the keyboard for example.

Thank you. I'm sure the vast majority of the population has no idea what an MBP is.
Surely that amount of screws shows a lack of an efficient design?

And I always find it tedious when people have to resort to commenting on grammar or spelling in posts. It is patronising and also infantile in that it demonstrates a lack of being able to put forward a reasoned argument/response.

Poor grammar and spelling is not a reflection on a persons ability to make a reasoned and valid comment.

Actually, my comment was posted with a generous degree of levity, in the happy afterglow of a fine roast luncheon with an excellent bottle of Burgundy. Naively, perhaps, I forgot that zealots have no sense of humour.

"Poor grammar and spelling", however, is indicative of a slovenliness which when carried through to the process of reasoning all too often renders comments that flow from it invalid (as is demonstrated liberally and daily on MSE).

It's A way to get a solid feel to a keyboard but whether it's a GOOD way is another question.
