I just ordered a SIM for £1 using MSE1 code.
Followed the link from the main MSE site, ordered the SIM and entered MSE1
The Samba account is working, watched a few ads on my PC and I have earned over 7 MB credit already

They give you a selection each day, some days more than others and one LuckyDip which has it's own selection of ads on it.
Some ads only play once, others play over and over. If you go on long enough the ads will run out for the day.
Just play them in their own browser tab and mute the computer while you get on with other stuff if you don't wanna watch any, just go back and start a new ad every few minutes.0 -
Hi, I have only just started using my Samba mobile account to build up my internet allowance. Do any regular users reckon they could update the list of the length of time of the adverts currently on circulation??
Also, I have read in this thread that some users reported their sim being compatible with their smartphones....any idea if this would be the case with an iPhone 4S? (I am aware that the sim would be internet only).
Thanks guys0 -
At the end of watching some ads ‘Earn more credit’ button did not appear.
'Data Earned' in 'My Samba' didn't go up either.
It has happened with about 8 ads so far. :huh:0 -

Happened to me a few times. I can't find a pattern. There are some ads that just won't display the button. In most other cases, it took an unnecessarily long number of seconds for it to appear, and, quite a few times, waving the mouse cursor over the ad appeared* to trigger the button and the crediting of allowance.
*This could be totally unrelated, and it is more likely explained by this Wikipedia section, as I haven't read the page source to see what really happens.

Another thing I noticed is that the 'Data Earned' in 'My Samba' alaways show 10 MB less than in the 'Samba Battery' indicator!0 -
I had a lot of 'Ad Expired's yesterday, it was late in the day and I'd already gone through all the ads once so I just gave up after about 5 errors. I'm sure I had it happen once last week and figured out why although I've completely forgotten now of course!
I've been using Chrome btw.
As to the question of ad length, most of them have been quite short for me lately but just a note about the "Far Cry 3" ones, the video is 6 min long but the credit button turn green after about 1min 40sec!0 -
When I used Firefox instead of IE, credit error happened only once.

I'm using Firefox on Linux. I lied when I downloaded the battery add-onbut it works just fine. The battery has always been in sync with the website. No discrepancies ever.

Hey guys just received an email saying that "on Friday 30th November all data is '2 for 1' - whatever you use - we only take half of it off your Samba battery".
This might come in handy.I want ginger babies0 -

Me too, but since Three is doing the reporting, I wonder if they assume you'll go to bed early. Three cheated me out of my data allowance because I used data a few hours before the allowance expired (I'm on 3Pay), but they accounted for it the day after (I was lucky that I had a new one queued up, but they cheated me out of that one as well, as they took it away after a single day instead of the normal 45).
Be wary of the "Three is reporting data usage once in a blue moon" fine print.0
