How come so many people win so many holidays? (I'm jealous LOL!)

Any hints/tips? Do you enter 100 times or just once?

Would love to win a holiday on the beach somewhere! Best I have done is tickets to festivals, which are fun but not super relaxing..

Last year we won a holiday for 2 to las vegas which we took in may this year.
Included was first class tickets (which we downgraded to business class and took an extra person), a week at the mgm grand, csi experience tickets and £1000 spending money.
It was fantastic and we have never been long-haul before and would never had chosen las vegas but it was a great experience.

We have also won a week holiday to the Isle of Wight for 6 people with 4 day trips to local attractions and the ferry over there. We have booked this holiday for the school summer holidays this year.

Last year we also won a week half-board to pontins which was also great for the kids. We took this in october half-term.

Congrats for you all winners, wow, amazing, never won anything but never comp either... I love travelling, go at least twice a year abroad but we pay all ourselves so really expensive with 2 kids....

Can anyone advise how and where to enter competitions, online mainly if possible... I would love to try it; but don't know where to start...

First holiday I won was a 5 star spa trip for 2 to Luton Hoo about four years ago, last year I won a Spa trip to the Algarve as well as a VIP 3 day trip to Ibiza and then this year I won a 5 star all inclusive trip to St Lucia with Sandals which included Butler Service which we took in May and was fantastic. I have been very lucky with my holiday wins so far but I would love to win a trip to New York as I have wanted to go there for many years.

In 2001 I won £3,000 to spend on a holiday from filling in an AA survey. At the time, I had no idea that people entered competitions as a hobby - it was a complete fluke that I won probably the only competition I'd entered that year! The company we had to book with did holidays to standard Med resorts or Florida - we went with Florida! The allowance covered flights, a lovely hotel for 14 nights, upgraded car hire and NASA, Universal and all-park Disney tickets. We'd never have paid to go there (couldn't have afforded it at the time and we were waaayy too cool for Disney - or so we thought!) but we had an absolute blast and completely fell in love with the USA

Then, in 2009, I won a Virgin Media competition for a week for 4 people at the Hard Rock Hotel in the Universal Resort in Orlando. This included Universal park tickets, flights, hotel, transfers and $1,000 spending money. It was perfectly timed as OH had been made redundant and my brother and his OH (who we took with us) had just graduated and were in dire need of a break. Again, it was amazing - especially being resort guests with automatic Fast Passes for all the rides!

We went back to Orlando again last year - we actually had to pay that time though!!

ive won a holiday to butlins in bognor regis in the ocean hotel with breakfast and evening meals for 4 people. has any stayed there before? id love to hear any reviews. we are going in august.
