About 8 years....I reckon I spend about 1 hour a day, but if the weather is grim I will usually comp for a couple of hours in the afternoon...I do a few Daily Comps in the morning and then enter other comps, have never sold anything I've won as only ever enter for things I'd really love to win, but when I've received runners prizes that I have no use for , they go to a friend of mine who raises money for Douglas Macmillan and uses them in her raffles....I only ever enter win for free comps....never do postcards or phone ones.

I won a five day trip to Cannes last year. It was amazing, stayed in the Carlton and got £500 spending money.

I also won many years ago a trip to the World Cup Final and 3 days in Paris. It was VIP all the way and fantastic.

I've been comping for about 5 years now and up until last year didn't have much luck with holiday comps. But then I won:

A night in a 5* hotel in London including 3-course meal, bottle of Champagne and breakfast.

I've just recently been to Gozo for 7 nights and it was the most beautiful little island which I would never have gone to otherwise. A scuba diving lesson was included but I don't swim so they changed it for a night in the Hilton at Manchester Airport.

And in September we've got a 2 night break in a castle in Scotland.

I've had such brilliant experiences through comping. Thanks to everyone who posts comps/answers etc. It is the best hobby ever!!

Only one so far but only been comping for a few months. An all expenses paid trip to London 4 star hotel with breakfast, hair and make up and a night at a Launch party travel expenses paid too. We had a great time, here's to many more.

I won a 2 night golf/spa break at Celtic Manor Resort near Cardiff last year with manicure, pedicure, spray tan and hair and make-up and came away feeling like a new woman! That was fun

This year I am going to T in the Park in Scotland which I won through the Lucozade comp, so am being picked up in a classic VW camper van and ferried to Scotland for 3 full days of festival fun. Eldest son and his girlfriend are coming along, so we're really excited about that!

Only been comping just over a year, so I am very pleased to have won these. They are treats we would never otherwise afford.

i also won a hotel stay and 2 says admission to legoland for a family of 4, which i was lucky enough to be able to book for my brother and sister-in-law and niece and nephew, they have just got back and had a fantastic time, the hotel was fab and my nephew couldn't believe how much he could have for breakfast! he is only 4 bless him xx

I starting comping in September last year and in the December I received an email saying I had won a trip to Boston but they sent vouchers so I was able to book to go anywhere.
Me and my boyfriend decided to book for Las Vegas so we are going four weeks on Thursday for 10 days. Can't wait!
I never would have though I had a big win but as they say, 'you have to be in it to win it'.
