Although, I don't expect mine to go for much - after having a look at the sellers of the £285 and then the £300 shoes above, I'm pretty sure there are 'extras' included that we don't know about  - have a look at their 'about me' pages.
Good lord!!! I see what you mean! Just looked at the 'gold pumps lady'....trying to work out why she appears to be standing behind a dismantled dog crate in photo #2!:rotfl:

Haha !! Brilliant, Well done you ! :j:j0 -
Just read some of this thread and it made me think indeed WHY people who should we say are interested in this sort of stuff are buying it on ebay for such ridiculous money when they can visit ANY car boot and get some very worn shoes for 50p or so..? and probably even see who's been wearing them  (now that's a creepy thought)
It's just so tempting now to put some of manky shoes on ebay after seeing how much they go for, feels like throwing hundrends of ££ in the bin now when throwing a pair away doesn't it.. don't want to ruin the account though
Also what about this bit. People are putting in descriptions "these will be cleaned and dirty photos are for advertising only etc" as you have to say that so that ebay doesn't pull the listing don't you. But then.. you obviously supposed to sedn them stinking.. so..maybe just me but I'd feel unuasy about it.. what if by any chance the buyer wasn't after "this" sort of thing ahem..you'd get yourself in not very comfy position.. as there are actually listing for very worn shoes without any pervy thought behind them(or so it looks)0 -

They will pay extra as they believe they are buying from someone in that field (I'm trying to phrase this politely!). If you just buy a pair from a charity shop they are just old shoes, what the buyers want is the whole experience..a woman in the 'industry' who knows what she is doing and will pander to their fantasy. It is the thrill of knowing that both they and the seller know or even share the same thrills and get a kick out it.
There are certain code words that let them know what they are buying, 'air hostess shoes' etc..certain buyers will go for certain phrases as it is a sort of game. You need to think what sort of woman gets a mans attention, air hostesses being one of them you sit there on a plane for hours and there is this unreachable woman that you can barely even talk to so they build up a whole fantasy about it. Different shoes sell to different markets, if you go through the better auctions (before they get pulled and the users suspended) they will have different key words and attract different prices.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
