  •.........................ok i've been rumbled.................. perhaps and what the *&^% were you doing up at that time of night / day / morning posting unless it was a get up to the loo and back to bed?

Oh and taking a pic of your feet / foot / slippers with a camera phone whilst laughing is a lot harder than you think. Just a wee note for anyone about to try it.

I noticed this one too after listing, I shudder to think what the "surprise" might be, and I don't think it's the matching sox do you?

Well I'm up to 90 views (can't believe that many folks have looked at worn slippers in less than 24 hours) and still one watcher. Alas no bids though, darn it, but at least I'm not bursting into fits of giggles every 3 nano seconds today when I think about what I've done.

Tip for taking a pic of your feet /foot /sliipers......................take picture then rotate the image 180 degrees.....sorted:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I dare someone to take this a step further and buy an old pair of shoes at a boot sale and list them, making up all the back story about how much you wear them etc. Then list them and we can watch their progress etc.

I don't know what the worry is about listing under your own user ID. Let's not forget that the buyers probably have a lot more to be *ashamed* of, than us sellers do. The last thing they want to do is be knocking on your door. I think they'll be more worried that you'll be knocking on theirs!!!

Admittedly, this thread is funny, but let's remember that this is a pleasure thing for these people and whilst it may seem pervy or sick that someone is getting their kicks from some shoes that quite frankly are only fit for the tip, as long as they're doing it in the privacy of their own home, I couldn't care less what they do! There are far worse things that people get their kicks from so I think shoes is pretty tame.

I am fascinated that that there is serious money to be had from worn shoes!

Anyone who thinks they will have folk knocking on their doors are seriously misguided. The reason these people are prepared to pay decent money for well-worn shoes is a) they can't be bought from a shop b) if a 'guy' goes into a charity shop buying worn womens shoes, he'll get funny looks and it'll embarrassing c) these shoes are delivered to your door just like any other package from ebay and no one knows what you're getting / doing in your own home.

I'm all for it and I can't wait for next Sunday to go to the boot sale and buy more. I think I'll make more money through doing this than previous stuff I have bought for re-sale on ebay!

Have already done this ...bought 5 pairs yesterday . Mum & I had such a giggle knowing what we were doing.

I don't know whether we were more embarrassed for showing so much enthusiam for worn shoes, or the fact that the stall holder was actually selling them :rotfl:
