Surely only the right slipper is well worn, cos you only have one foot!

That's a great feat of photography by the way:rotfl:

.........................ok i've been rumbled.................. perhaps and what the *&^% were you doing up at that time of night / day / morning posting unless it was a get up to the loo and back to bed?

Oh and taking a pic of your feet / foot / slippers with a camera phone whilst laughing is a lot harder than you think. Just a wee note for anyone about to try it.

This is a good example of the subculture of this kind:

I dread to think what the 'surprise' might be.

I noticed this one too after listing, I shudder to think what the "surprise" might be, and I don't think it's the matching sox do you?

Well I'm up to 90 views (can't believe that many folks have looked at worn slippers in less than 24 hours) and still one watcher. Alas no bids though, darn it, but at least I'm not bursting into fits of giggles every 3 nano seconds today when I think about what I've done.

Right, can I make a possibly outlandish and disgusting suggestion about this 'well worn' stuff:

What's really being sold is knickers, not shoes, the 'well worn shoes' is simply a vehicle for disguising the listing so as not to get removed by ebay. All the buyers know about the coded language etc, and that one that i linked to above is a prime candidate for my theory!

If it is just shoes, boxes of crappy shoes can be picked up for nothing at bootsales. But if you listed and sold them, and posted them etc, would you get annoyed emails?

  • Or ask the buyer what he / she would like me to do with them?

    Hmmm....might think twice about that...

and everyone is allowed to have their own thoughts about fetishes :p

The rights or wrongs are not for me to question :D

The fun on this thread has been fantastic, a little light relief from the woes of ebay:beer: in fact...

That's the joke, the use of 'well worn' in this instance is entirely innocent and relative to the state of the books, and a million miles from the sordid inferences of the shoes and boots on sale across ebay!

If you have to explain a joke it's less funny.
