Please excuse me if this question has been asked numerous times.

Ok I wish to buy some books from Amazon. I have one that is direct from amazon and 3 that are from different sellers.

The amazon book is priced at £41 so over the free postage threshold. My question is are the 3 books sold by other sellers (at very low prices) included in the free delivery OR am I going to get stung extra postage costs for these?

    Many thanks in advance

I'm guessing you'll get stung for the non amazon ones, after all they are not posting them out, are they?

    I would assume not no.

I've got to checkout stage and it states a standard delivery option for the other sellers books. No indication how much postage would be for these though?

OK. Having looked in the help section it would seem each non-amazon book would have a further delivery charge. Darn!

But only £2.75 a book though! which is usually factored into reducing the actual sale price of the book, which is why so many books are available ridiculously cheap on amazon.

The other thing to check if you are new to buying on amazon is the feedback of the sellers and also check the expected dispatch date of the amazon copy, as amazon often state a 4-6week delivery for some titles even though there is no chance of them being able to supply!

What do you do if the ISBN is on a paperback and the Amazon catalogue says it is hardback
I did an update to alter it and they just replied saying they cant verify it and it wont be changed .. ????

State VERY CLEARLY in the comments that it's a paperback and when someone buys it check that they are aware of this before dispatch!

Never had a reply to a product update stating they can't verify it before though!

well that is what I have done pro-tem ... here's the amazon reply. I thought of sending them a scan of the damn thing and saying "Look it's a paperback!!!" but thought that would probably be ignored
    Attribute: Binding

    Current value: Hardcover

    Your suggestion: Paperback

Action: None. We could not verify the requested update.

Thanks though - I will double check all the numbers and stuff too on the publishers site fi I can find it ..just in case.

I'm now getting emails from Amazon saying my books are at the end of their 60 days listing, but I just can't relist them. I click on the link that Amazon send to relist and it just comes up with error all the time.

I called Amazon CSD (think I got through to the USA!) they managed to relist them straight away and said it must be a problem with my computer, but I don't think it is.

Anyone else had this problem? It's letting me list new titles, just can't relist.
