Why does your closed listings page always display your items even when you have reopened them? This is really annoying."I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something."0

Grrr, that means after a while I will have a HUGE closed listing list!"I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something."0

Grrr, that means after a while I will have a HUGE closed listing list!
Fear not Tsharp, I think closed lisitngs must fall off the end after a while. I've been selling for about a year and usually have around the 170 listed. I only have 83 closed items and as I'm not a pro-seller my unsold items do come up for relisting every 60 days.
I suppose if you listed LOADS at once , I don't to spread it out a bit then it might be a long list for a while but hey such things are sent to try us0 -
i left the buyer who left the bad feedback a response detailing what happened stating that i listed the book as acceptable and highlighted the fact that that is amazons lowest condition category as well as highlighting the faults in detail
If you left the response by clicking the "respond" button on your feedback page, the buyer will not be aware of this unless they return to look at your feedback, which is unlikely. Also if you actually leave feedback for them in return there is little chance of them seeing this either. As well as emailing it may be an idea to write them a letter just explaining nicely, and saying how much the neg feedback is likely to damage your sales.
its just that if i am purchasing a book i look at the % rating of the seller
Most buyers do the same, most of the time. Though if there is only a few sellers of that particular item buyers will look at feedback and will also take into account that it only takes 1 unfair feedback to have a huge effect on sellers who have less than 100feedbacks. As long as your descriptions are good and you have the stock people want to buy it should not effect your sales too badly.
The other thing to bear in mind is if you do attempt to open a seperate account, it is possible to get in a bit of trouble with Amazon due to this. Sellers who have tried similair have had their seller account suspended, so not a method I would use at all.
Also if you look at the feedback of some of the american sellers who have thousands of feedbacks, and a quite low percentage you will see having low feedback does not deter all customers!Do You Twitter?

She hath abandoned us! I listed 2 books bought for 50p each today and an old Indie CD single recently, and no takers! However, I posted a lego kit on ebay using Turbo Lister and as i was waiting for my My Ebay page to load so i could see it, someone emailed me and asked for a BIN price! Literally 30 seconds after i pressed upload on Turbo Lister!"I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something."0
