I just sold a book! I must be averaging about 2/3 a month, which means I make about £5/6 a month. I calculate that by the year 3395 I'll be a MILLIONAIRE!"I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something."0

well done to you both!0

At the weekend I sold a small fairly rare childrens book to a lady about 200 miles from me, from my huge but decreasing collection of childrens books.
Anyway - she just emailed to say that it had arrived and that she'd been looking for it for ages as she had had one when she was little - and she had opened it and her name was inside!!!! :shocked:0 -

Wow!
I think you should offer this extraordinary story to a magazine. Everyone would enjoy reading about it, and they'd pay you something.0 -

must admit, that email is DEFINITELY archived!! Gives me a great buzz to have been - albeit unwittingly - involved
And the other weird thing is I rarely get emails about books etc and the shipment notifications - but today I have had 4 one after the other - one telling me how much he and his wife are looking forward to showing their grandkids the watch with mother video they just bought - and telling me their favourites!
Then again I did get a glowing feedback - and a 4/5 for it
rough with the smooth huh?0 -
I've just had a 1 out of 5 feedback for non arrival of two books - one from me but one from someone else - grr!
Hasve sent refund, and polite email asking that feedback be withdrawn and disputes are correct place! Will amazon remove it if she doesn't?
thanks
MoamAlthough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
