Still a bit concerned about my lack of feedback! I was just wondering what all you Amazon sellers do to ensure that you are giving good customer service? Any tips?:D.

I try to describe things as accurately as possible and post as fast as I can (2nd class). That way they get what they are expecting usually faster than they expected. This seems to work, but feedback is traditionally only 25 - 30 % of all sales.

But at least it's good feedback - here's a few of my recent ones.

    received next day
    Fast delivery (I live abroad)
    quick and efficient - thanks
Brilliant fast delivery. Goods as described
    Fair price, speedy delivery
Just as advertised - would order from again - thank you
Book exactly as described, quick delivery
Amazingly fast delivery. Thanks very much

One idea I saw which I though quite good when I bought from a used seller was they sent email to confirm order and said as they were new to selling they would really appreciate feedback. Well, I couldn't resist - so might be worth a try doing that.

I've never asked for feedback myself and only have 28 out of a possible 60 plus! Fortunately still 100% rating though.

I advertise as "fast despatch" and by using Royal Mail online postage I can get items in local postbox quickly - even if it's late at night. Most people who have left feedback have been impressed with the speed (until Royal Mail lets me down one day no doubt.....)

I always go into my sellers account and confirm that I will be despatching item "tomorrow" as soon as I receive Amazon's notification. When I am buying from a used seller I always appreciate getting some sort of communication to say when they are posting it -

It's very disappointing not to get feedback. Hope this helps!

Thanks FFM. I've been doing that, also emailing buyer to let them know item has been dispatched, still nothing:confused: . Oh well, just have to wait and hope the Amazon prompt will work.

Sellers are reporting the same problem, though as usual amazon aren't stating there is a problem and are usually quite late in admitting an issues. This sort of thing has happened in the past and usually resolves itself in a few hours or days. Though it will probably be fine by the time amazon staff clock on tomorrow morning.

Also worth noting, that items may not show in open listings, but they are visible for sale on the product listing. Only draw back is that you won't be able to edit them if you require to do so.
