Had a look on Loqux, but i haven't seen anything.0

hi, it's not the look, wotv dailies etc,
it's the main take a break, chat, that's life, that's involved
Ahhh! Yes I suppose! Must admit, I did used to buy Take a Break all the time and I worked through the comps but entered online - that was before I joined MSE. Since then I still do buy the mag but not as often and only do the comps myself in the mag if I have time or I am on holiday - so I guess they are right in a way - sharing on comp sites does prob bring down their sales!
But they cannot really stop people sharing. I could share the answers by emailing hundreds of friends for example!:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -

hi kk, i don't knowwe've been posting the main mag answers on here for years & even before they went online & were just EF/text entry, i can't understand realy how they can stop answers being published, but, as nanto3girls says if the mag people are losing sales & thousands are entering maybe that's why ?

I think they would have to sue a lot of sites - there are loads of comping sites!:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -
Utterly confused by the comping section of MSE
Has anyone bought Chat Passion Series, Issue 7, July 2012, price £1-95
on sale 14 june - 12 july 2012
I've got all answers bar page 19, puzzle 5 ... the mirror image puzzle
It's a postal entry competition, end date 3rd august 2012
I can post the other answers if need be
Hi cally,I have sent you PM.0 -
They could always go back to making it postal or text entries only. At least with text entries they could make some money out of it.Luck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams

that's what i think, maybe they'll just approach the admin as it's not 'our' site & there's never been any rules about posting mag comp answers, fingers crossed it won't come to it though.please be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -

When it was EF/Text you had to either pay for the mag to get the entry form or pay the additional rate for the text so they were still making pennies up, now with free online entry and sharing of answers, you don't have to contribute to their profits to enter. It's a shame if they do stop us sharing answers on MSE or any other site, but I think perfectly reasonable of them to request as a business, especially the way things are at the moment. Lower sales mean less interest from advertisers/promoters = less prizes for us
I reckon every week a few more people who have always bought the mag are discovering the moneysaving way of doing it and stop buying the mag to save their money when they realise they don't need to buy the mags and these small weekly numbers mean a big drop in sales year to yearSmall business owner 🧵 Ex MSE comper 🏆 Student loan repayer 💴 Romanian dog rescuer 🐕 Hopefully a cost of living survivor 🤞🏻0 -
