I have another 2 questions, sorry.
1) Can I enter a comp on a local radio/TV/newspaper that is not local to me? Obviously I wouldn't if it was for tickets to local events or for prizes to be collected, but say for money or goods?
2) can I enter comps that are aimed at specific people that Im not one of? For example, if I see a comp where the website is aimed for over 60's (Im 33) can I still enter?
ThanksCurrent Aims: Laptop/PC, decent money, holiday
Best Wins: Ipad, Nintendo 3DS, £400 Shopping Spree at LK Bennett, £100 Boots vouchers
Total Wins (Since April 2012) £3442.56
Big thanks to all who post comps :T:beer:0 -
I used the method below for doing the end of the month comps last month and had over 1,200 tabs open without any degradation to the browser or memory this helped me to zip through the comps and I managed to get through all 1,200+ comps the same day!
For those of you who have updated to the latest Firefox and have found that the add-on Bartab no longer works
there is a Bartab like feature built into the latest Firefox browser click on Tools-Options-General and select "Show my windows and tabs from last time" and tick "dont load tabs until selected"
once you have done this you can select any number of links to open into Firefox tabs the only snag is that to get the "dont load tabs until selected" thing to work is that you have to let the tabs partially load into the browser then close the browser and re-start
when you re-start all of the tabs will appear greyed out until you click on them
the best thing is if you close the browser down the tabs will reappear the next time you open your browser - note this will only work if you do not clear your browsing history
hope this helps0 -

Think that you may need to bite the bullet and upgrade to Firefox 12 or Firefox 13 beta then upgrade Roboform after
if you have any problems, you can always re-install your previous version of Firefox here

Was thinking earlier, not seen Al Mac around for ages, is he still about? When I first started comping several years ago he was always posting on the comps board, wonder where he's gone.Thrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End
You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time0
