I had a look but am not posting. It's a bit complicated. The prizes are for tickets (240 in total) from abroad to London. You have to nominate your long lost granny or friend or someone who you want to go to the Olympic games with. Here is the link for anyone wanting to post it up:

12 winners for each of the 20 destinations available under the prize draw (240 tickets in total) will be randomly selected from those Eligible Participants who have correctly nominated a Facebook friend in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

Hi :wave: , Im new to this comping. I have been doing it for just over a month now, but only found this forum today and glad I did. So far I have entered 499 competitions since 29th April. Although some of them (less than 50) have been from sites such as get me a ticket, tickbox and my offers so Im not sure of the chances there after spending all day today reading various threads on here, but nevermind its too late now. Although I have won a song credit for itunes (along with another 2999 people and thats not even counting those that won more song credits)

Anyway I have two questions, sorry if they have been asked, but I just dont have it in me to trawl through the threads anymore.

1) If I win and they contact me by a phonecall, if I dont answer it does that mean Im not going to win? Will I be given the chance to still claim the prize?

2) I am currently job seeking so on benefits. Say I win a sum of money will I then lose my benefits? Obviously Im not talking about millions, but like £1000 for example.

Many thanks, Firefly, for all the magazine comps you have posted - I don't know how you managed to find the time to do it. I hope to see some of your apt smilies dotted around the site on other posts. They always achieve their aim - to make me smile!

Thanks also to all those who have volunteered to do them in future.

My dream is to win something lovely from a magazine comp one day but the nearest I have been to this was receiving a TAB prize letter in error (I could see the letterhead and the word Congratulations on it through the window in the envelope). Ooh, that Good Samaritan walk to the next street to post some good news for someone I didn't know was SOOOOO hard!

I hope it's okay to ask a question here, if not please feel free to move my post!

I'd love to win a new phone and have entered quite a few competitions for iPhones, etc., but none of the T&Cs I've read explain how you pay for the phone if you win it. If the T&Cs are not specific, is it safe to assume it can be used as a SIM only or PAYG phone?

I presume it would be a sim free & you could put it on any network but I'm not 100%.

1) it varies widely. Some will call several times, some will only call once. It can depend on the prize eg. Tickets for an event tomorrow - they will have to call someone else pretty quickly if the first person doesn't answer or they will be left with an unused prize.
