I am quite sure that if you post the comp on the main board someone will post the answers

it's not the done thing on mse to ask for answers without first sharing the comp with everyone

    Best of Luck :)
  • Just wondering if this site is genuine? Theres a hell of a lot of competitions which require very little effort to take part in so I was just wondering if it is a genuine site to take part in?

Whenever you've got a query like this the first place to check is the "Comping Guide and other FAQs" which is here.

You can either read it or just use the drop down box to search for what you're looking for - "myoffers" brings up several results. The general view here is that they generate a lot of spam, and nobody seems to know anyone who's won from them.... which given the size of the "I Won I won I won" board is a pretty big warning sign!

11 Are there any sites, from experience, which are likely to generate lots of spam?
There are a few which have come to our collective attention as sites that, when used for comps, seem to generate lots of unwanted postal, email & phone call attention. These are listed below for your information, however, please do remember that this is only the collective opinion of other MSE Compers & does not necessarily reflect upon the sites themselves.

    ActiveYou
    Clash Club/Clash media

FindAPrize (questions raised if prizes awarded, slight spam, non existant company address, dodgy? Info here & here)

  • Ahh ok, thanks guys. I'll stick with the comps on here! :)
  • Hi
On Nov 28th, i received this email:

    CONGRATULATIONS!

You’ve won a portable DVD Player

We’ve passed on you details to the pormoter, who’ll be in touch soon with instructions as to how to claim your Prize. In the meantime, please can you confirm you have received this email by replying with your full name and address.

Thanks for taking the time to enter the competition – have a great time!

    Best,
blah blah...came from TNT magazine and i replied with my name and address straight away.
I've still not received my prize, nor have i heard from them.
Now i know i need to contact them, but i wondered if it was normal to wait a long time for a prize or am i jumping the gun?
    Thanks
The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter :(
  • I would say at least wait until after Christmas, especially with people being off work etc. It's only 3 weeks since you won, which isn't a long time, especially if they are not supplying the prize themselves. I'm still waiting for delivery of something I won in September!

    Roboform Query, can anyone help

I've eventually (after about 6 years of comping) have set up a comping-only email address. When I right click on an email address in a thread, I had previously set the default to go straight to my old email account (AOL) but now I want to change it to go to my new (Yahoo) - anyone know how to do this, I've tried clicking about in RF but can't figure it out.

    Thanks
    Ms C x
