    1) it varies widely. Some will call several times, some will only call once. It can depend on the prize eg. Tickets for an event tomorrow - they will have to call someone else pretty quickly if the first person doesn't answer or they will be left with an unused prize.

I will very very rarely enter those last minute event things (Im usually too busy for that) so it will be for those prizes which are items or money. Its just that I dont like to answer my phone to numbers I dont know, but hope that this wont count against me for anything.
Current Aims: Laptop/PC, decent money, holiday

Sorry if this issue has already been discussed, I rarely come over here and haven't read right through the thread before posting.

I've noticed on a couple of competition threads recently that the thread has been amended by a member of MSE, here's an example of one

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3991261

It looks like MSE Debs has added some T&Cs to Jambo's original post and entitled it Official MSE Insert , is this odd, anyone know why?

Is there anyway to hide from comp site owners where our entries come from?

Martin's Money Tips - the weekly MSE newsletter often has a (random?) competition from here picked to be included in the newsletter. This is one of the ways that newbies find out about this forum. If the OP hasn't included all the T&C then an MSE official will edit in the rest of them for the benefit of people coming here for the first time after seeing the newsletter. There is usually a banner also inserted. A better example is THIS THREAD which includes some inserted terms and the banner.

Look at posts #2 & #3 and weeowens response at #4 and it is clear that it does attract people who've never been here before.

Looking at the dates, I would guess that jambo's comp has been selected for the next newsletter.

I often post the viewfinder comp & usually soon get the answer.

This week I'm having a bit of a mental block

I think it is Kenya but I'm just not 100%

It exports flowers, has the gemstones & I think the news on the first page is re the death of the King,as the queen was in Kenya when the news was received.

    Any ideas please

Photo 4 is the appropriately named Windsor Golf Hotel, Nairobi.

Photo 1 is a cryptic reference to Treetops where Q was staying in 1952,
