The day before that a lovely friend in the village kindly gave the use of her mum to stitch a costume for my son's upcoming school play - I was relieved coz I didn't have a clue where to start! If you're not hungry, food isn't the answer!0 -

:grouphug:Here dead we lie because we did not choose
To live and shame the land from which we sprung.
Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
And we were young.

My Mum gave me a Herman today - already baked. My sister, son, Mum and cousin have all had Herman's and have all asked if I wanted one (the raw ingredients, not a baked one) but I said no because I didn't have 3 other people who hadn't already had one, to give to! Poor Mum doesn't have anyone to give them too either so she actually baked 4 cakes instead!0

I ended up doing that too. The cake freezes really well and I have made nana and choc chip, apple and blackberry and apple and choc chip. When finished, I hoped we could lose some weight but was then given another Herman !!working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
The one my Mum gave me has cinnamon in it.
I've also heard apples are very good in it.
