Would you be able to install Windows XP on this machine ?

I am also not sure what you mean by a £5 discount. I can't see anything about it on the site.

Sorry for not replying sooner, I had an exam so haven't been online:(

Yeah you should be able to install XP but just to be 100% sure email them at contact@dinopc.com. And about the £5 discount, what I did was saved the PC(customised to your preference) to the "Saved Shopping Cart" or "Saved Products". I'm not too sure which I did but after about 12 hours(received email exactly midnight) they sent an email saying something along the lines:
"We have noticed that you have recently registerd an account at https://www.dinopc.com but have not completed an order. We would like to offer you a one-off £5 discount if you place an order for any of our PC systems"

I have read online that apparently a lot if people get this £5 discount. So I'm guessing you will to.

    Hope that helps:)

The trouble is, adding £25 postage AND the operating system will push it to near £500 :-(

Also you mentioned in your first post "500GB and 4/6GB RAM". So, why not downgrade for now and maybe upgrade in the future when you can afford to? But personally I wouldn't do that as your only saving about £34.

If it is something to do with not paying for the official software I am afraid I am not into that kind of thing. I like to keep everything legal.
