when i went to post office with my grandsons application they said photos had scratches on them and refused to accept them. i took them to another post office that accepted them, got the passport no problem.

The post office have taken them again for her free of charge, so she may as well just get these ones signed now, to be on the safe side.

She has rang the IPS and arranged a fast track appointment for next week. It was getting abit to close to risk not getting the passport back in time.

I've signed a few passport applications, i've never been contacted to confirm that i was eligible to sign them.

There are so many in the list that i could qualify under. It could be interesting trying to explain which one i wanted to use.

If you were short of someone to sign it. I would find the most suitable person and have them sign the application form, and take the chances of it being rejected.
