Ever feel like you are just going round in circles banging your head off a brick wall??

    :o Yes I do, frequently :o

Losing fly momentum again this week, after Wednesdays I fizzle out like a damp firework. However I have done basic stuff it's just the clutter is taking over... I've been looking on the declutter 2012 thread and on the clothes one for inspiration.

I will be working as a volunteer in the local Shelter shop two days next week :j so I am excited and nervous at the same time. Don't know if it will lead to anything permanent (paid) but you never know and I will pick up some new skills so I'm looking at it as win/win for everyone whatever happens.

I hope the hurting people are feeling better today and that baby William is getting stronger. Also been thinking of Ed (thanks for the reminder, LW).

Anyone fancy a HHI starting at 4.15?

I love almond loaf, I do a low carb one by using truvia or splenda instead of sugar. It's really nice toasted and buttered, and such a treat when I'm not having bread.

Not much more done here, carpet man been, said the one I've chosen would be £550 lol think I better choose again. Would you spend that much on a bedroom carpet? Not very mse...

We've all napped again, I do like thu and fri, lol, the tots are always tired after a few days at nursery. There are little squeals coming from the lr now, as I have strung a blanket over the back of the sofa and pegged it to a picture frame so they are playing in the "dent". Not sure if that's a den or a tent, lol. Ahh the simple things...

Done lots of decluttering this morning so will add them to my may list.

    Go for it bonnie!

It's feeding time at our zoo, so I will do my hhc after the flor gets covered in pasta.

Was going to ask - I am decorating master bedroom (have I mentioned it, lol) and I have vertical blinds in there. Is it possible to just replace the fabric? The rail and mechanism is fine, but the fabric is old and yellowing, plus a bit frayed at the edges... Any suggestions?

I've gone for it and I'm going for it again!!

Depends how big the bedroom is bossymoo and if that price includes underlay and all fitting costs.

    Off I go again

Bossymoo how big is that room? My girls room was £290 including fitting adding a strip to one side, underlay and delivery. :D it is 15ftx14.5ft Blinds.. put them in the bath and scrub them they wash fairly well.. It would probably be cheaper to just replace the blinds than replace just the fabric.

Children decluttered to KH's.. mediated a compromise with him and DD2 about tomorrow.

Took delivery of a suit for DS2 for his prom.. I don't think he will like it but I will simply return it if not... it was supposed to be black and has stripes on it! We shall see. I paid his prom ticket and him and some friends are getting a pink limo to the prom! so I paid that too.

the 3 girls beds are changed and pillowed.. the boys and DD2 to do next... once I have cleared some laundry.

Hi the room is 3.1 x 3.2m what's that in old money? Yes it did include everything, fitting, underlay, scotchguard and it's pure New Zealand wool. Just mentioned it to FIL and he said will most of it be covered by a bed which I suppose is a very good point!

Lots decluttered today, will take the carpet up tonight and might do another wardrobe segment. So far have done casual tshirts, jeans and similar, and work bottoms. Might do work tops tonight.

Toys have been tidied away, kitchen cleaned up after dinner and we are quite tidy all round. I tell you what, I absolutely hate ironing, and it's such a pain cos I have to do it when the tots are in bed, as they won't leave the ironing board alone. So it ends up piling up until I have a huge amount, such a hassle getting the board out for half a dozen items. So, I have bought myself a tabletop board! Only had a few bits, mostly toddler sized things, so popped the board on the kitchen work top and did them whilst I was making lunch! So much easier, and will stop the pile getting out of hand in future!
