Morning everyone, hope you are all feeling energised and raring to go… I’m not..lol Got rudely woken up by the local roof man doing another roof in our road, he has done about 5 since he did ours last month..lol

Have been sitting here listening to the mayhem on the Chris Evans show and now Ken Bruce is on. :D Oh how sad he’s playing a Donna Summer song in honour of her life after passing yesterday. I used to like her back in the old days, yikes that makes me sound old..lol

I thought I was doing so well but unfortunately my trapped nerve is playing me up today so it looks like I have got to take a painkiller..ugh!! Really don’t want to as I have gone 24 hours without one. Still if it gets me going without being in pain then I suppose it’s worth it. :rotfl:

Not a lot of activity on the bird front I’m afraid girls. Mr and Mrs Woody seem to have taken permanent root in the garden as they are always here, food or no food out. I dread to think where they would nest if they do use my garden..maybe in the honeysuckle or the big tree at the back. :) Not all that au fait on Woodpigeons and their young.. I just hope they don’t pink Mr and Mrs Dove’s area in the tree where they like to go. Hoody the blackbird is getting very brave at the moment, he is now coming up to a pot by the back door and is letting me know he wants feeding. I’ve watched him several times do this, first of all I thought it was a fluke but he is doing it more often when I am at the table. I am going to have make sure he doesn’t try and fly in the door when it is open in the summer.. I would have no idea how to get him out again..:rotfl:

Not a lot planned flying wise today I’m afraid, by the time I get into anything I have to go back out early this afternoon to pick C up from school, then it’s over to T’s for a cuppa and a chat ~ our usual Friday natter time.

I need to get into the shower, get dressed and then strip the bed and put it in the machine. Get the clean bedding out so that DH can help me putting it back on when he gets in tonight.

Chicken is out, semi defrosted, for tonights butter chicken.. Ooh that reminds me must set the cooker clock back to proper time so that I can set the oven to come on while I’m out.

Vanilla well done honey on your charity work. You’ll be fine once you have done it a couple of times ~ I was so nervous when I started going to my first cake club meeting but now I look forward to it.
Mumto5 sending you positive vibes for little William, and hugs for you too.
Gentle hugs to all the poorlies.
Welcome to all the newbies ~ you’ll love it here.

Morning Flyfriends, dull and overcast today. DH is catching up on all the odds n ends today. We have a busy house today with people coming and going. A friend of DH's is coming to plumb in d/w properly beacause its been operating on a 'temporary' arrangement for almost 3 years now:j We have the 2 steplittlies here for the weekend (one lives with us full--time) and my friend is coming to do our ironing, she comes most Fridays for me and she is such a life saver.

My legs don't belong to me again *double sigh* so it will be a frustrating day. I shall park myself on my stool in the kitchen and make a 10 egg sponge mix which I will use to make a banana cake (banana going over), some cupcakes and probably a lemon drizzle cake. I got a great deal at my scoop and buy shop on ground almonds so I shall have a think about what I shall do with them, we all love almondy things.:) I also need to make some marmalade in the next day or 2.

Huge vibes for Baby William & Family I hope there is some good news soon.

Hugs for Lamewolf and all the other poorlies

Will be thinking of you on Sunday Bossymoo as you plant your Daddy Tree. It would have been my late hubbies birthday tomorrow.

Going to get going now I have so much I want to achieve, but I'm not expecting to get much done.

Thanks miasnanny, and hugs for you.

Well, tinterweb been offline till now so I have been in the garage which ties nicely to today's list. Have sifted my eBay pile and it's all going to cs as I just cba. I will start again when I feel up to it. And everyone's got over the shock of the price of posting stuff now, lol.

Also been through dh garage bits and getting rid of some junction boxes (?) and other half used bits of tat. The rest of his electrickery I'll bag up and might give to the building college, since I walk past twice a week...

Beds all done this week already, so will just focus on decluttering. Garage looking tidier already. Carpet man called is now coming at 12.15 so will get the tots fed first so they can go to bed after, and I will take the old bedroom carpet up this aft.

    Good karma all round x
