Thanks, we did look at the almonds too, but we really liked the acers, and decided to do it on Sunday, so couldn't wait for delivery.

I'll post pics when we have done the plaque also.

    Kaz,
I have thought of childminders, nannies etc. the thing is, the children are settled in nursery, and given our situation at the moment, I am a bit reluctant to bring someone new into the equation. Since all this happened, they are both not so keen on strangers. And they do love their nursery.
Thankfully being now a "lone parent" I do get tax credits for childcare, so I think I actually only pay about a third of it myself. The original plan was that my husband would care for them mon-tue, they would go to nursery wed and I would have them the rest of the week.

Anyway, enough of my financials, lol. I cleaned the living room windows this eve as the little beggers had wiped something god awful on the French doors.

    That's me done!

sleeve 1 finished.. sleeve 2 underway.

Lots of laundry to catch up on in the morning. going to pay my Friday bills now and update my spreadsheet and then go to my nest.. I had good intentions of taking the pests to toddler group tomorrow but I don't think I can manage that level of social interaction.. I used to take the others and the parents were cliquey to the point of total rudeness.. it disgusted me that these were 'christians' yet they couldn't be bothered to speak to anyone other than themselves and actively excluded the children.. :( As a result I have pretty much talked myself out of going knowing exactly what they will be like.. plus the group was wild and busy and I don't like other peoples children.

    Morning all!

Just off to strip our bed and get the sheets in - I like to get that done on a Friday, ready for a no housework weekend! :D Towels washed overnight so just about to put those out.

Shawl is still growing - housework not quite so good - but you can't do it all!

Running late today so have a good day all!

Morning all, I have been lurking but not posting much this week. Already at the paid stuff today, so no flying for me, but the only room that hasn't had a good clean this week is the bathroom although it has had a quick wipe round each day. Need to vacuum dog hairs from the living room though. Have a good day everyone.
Spend less now, work less later.

Morning all, got no flying done yesterday as we went to the Balmoral show. Kids loved it but boy was it packed and it rained the whole time.

I've also started helping a charity, i've to sort out raffle prizes and get stuff for a fry day and afternoon tea.... very nervous because i'm very shy in RL but so far i've got 3 raffle prizes and anyone i've approached they've said no problem.

Right today will be flylady catch up along with raffle stuff, i would like to find somewhere that will give the fry stuff today.

Natty lovely to see your post xx
Mumto5 positive vibes for baby William.
I hope all poorlies feel better soon.
    Hello to all newbies.

Right cuppa and i'll get the wm and td on.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
