Can i have some positive vibes for neveah please. Her DH is having a tough time at the moment and we're all very worried. She was great when i was ill and rang her in tears and took me to the Drs twice and Ds2 to and from school and did some washing and washing up for me.

Thinking of neveah & her family, hope you are also feeling better HollyH

Babies fed and Dot asleep in my arms for some reason.. she is either not well or growing.. she never sleeps and she managed 11 hours last night !!!

DS3 left his blood monitor at home so I am running that up to school once dressed.. I need to collect his prescription from Boots and post a pile of parcels which I haven't yet packaged.. that is my next job.

OH and Squeak swimming later so I will vacuum downstairs while they are out and I am sorely tempted to whizz out the sewing machine.. but I am also tempted to get out the drill for the 3 kitchen blinds and 3 mirrors which need putting up.

    Morning all

Had a productive hour doing various bits of tidying, washing etc. Going to do a few bits on here and then I need to take some stuff to the dump and visit Lidl and take something back to Mr T

Feeling a tad tired so not got much GUAG.

    Morning Flyfriends:wave:

Legs have gone awol agaaaaain! *sigh* and everything else is stiff and ouch! nothing compared to some of your worries though, big HUGS to all of you struggling, especially lamewolf, baby william.

DH starts exam invigilating for construction exams at the college he used to work, so he is out all day. My lovely neighbour will pop in through the day to make sure I'm alright. I quite like days when I am left to my own devices as I feel 'normal' again. I shall have a little tidy around in the bedroom later and put an odd sock on my hand and dust what I can from my charriot. So I'm not expecting to do great things today but in the words of THE advert "every little helps":rotfl:

I made a crustless quiche yesterday which we had last night with salad and new potato's, so we will have the leftover quiche tonight with HM oven chips and baked beans Simples!:rotfl:

Have a good day everyone and take care xx

    Hi all

Sorry, I'm a little late in catching up with the thread.

Posi-vibes Neveah and Holly and barrow-loads of Wolfy strength and get-well vibes for young William

Dusty, I haven't forgotten Ed either.

CY I had keyhole surgery when I was sterilised, and honestly, it's a doddle when compared with the other sort! I ended up with just two stitches which I removed myself as it was easier than faffing about getting someone to take me to the surgery to get the nurse to do it. I hope DD1 is OK, and send her my best wishes.

I feel really ropy today, so going to clear my email first (that usually takes a while) and then see about some gentle one-handed Flying in the bedroom. I'd hoped to get ahead and start the spare room as well today, with a view to a day off tomorrow, but if that doesn't happen, then so be it.:o

We've got Mr LW's pal coming over tonight - I could do without it, but I can't really put him off, and he knows my health issues, so won't be surprised or offended if I flake out on the sofa.

HM pizza for dins, so I'd better think about getting the dough for the base on the go!;)

Ditto this - I would have loved to have given DS 'William' as a name but I couldn't with his surname..and I have a delightful William at work (but that's between you and me - I never let them know;) so hoping baby William Y. is thriving.

    :hello:

Hello Flyladies, and men if we have any just now...

I have still been pottering away, keeping up with the dailies which in itself is good for me :) But then I havent been at work this week which has made it easier to fit everything in!

I havent been following the lists though, and its got half way through the week and Im losing both my way and my motivation, so have come on for a list, a HHC and a good old fashioned boot up the proverbial...

I have however now cleaned all of my blinds in the flat using the washing machine... but I did manage to shrink the longest blinds from the patio windows in the Living Room - and unevenly shrunk them at that... they are now all at different lengths... :rotfl: Oops... You dont notice it when they are open, only when they are shut.:o

Anyhow, today so far I have, done the kitchen, straightened both the bedrooms, put a wash on and emptied 3 black bags full of clothes, but thats all I have done.... emptied them onto the bed!

Ironing board is set up and I have ironed one thing.

So Im off to see how much I can iron in HH and get as much of it put away as I can. Its proving a tad difficult though as Ive run out of hangers.

I have posted an ad on Freecycle so hopefully someone has some lying around.
